I bought this as a fire pit because the product is listed as a fire pit. Maybe 30-45 minuets after the fire started I noticed that my grass kept catching on fire more than just the normal small pieces accidentally falling out. The paint was melting off and catching my grass on fire. Glad I was walking around and monitoring it pretty good instead of constant yard work like I intended. The metal itself held up but now I have a nasty burnt metal looking fire pit that’s only been used once. Single/first use results Flimsy: top will bend from branches dropping on them. Not even from a large distance and not even large branches. Paint? What paint? Burned off after single use. Did I pay extra for paint? Well, you will need to buy high temp paint and redo it. Why do they not use high temp paint for this represented as a fire pit? So, now I have something I didn't want...a dented and galvanized steel cylinder in the yard. I should send this back for replacement and keep returning until they get it right! ... show more
