Size: 12' Wide Exactly 19' 10" Long .24mm Thick or 0.00944882in. So not the 16 mil or .016 that it claims. I measured 3 sections in the middle of the tarp via a digital caliper. Also 2" shorter but at 20' that's not a big deal. Edges are folded laminate with a string/cord running in-between the folded layers. This give your clips something to grip while maintaining strength at the edges. I VERY RARELY see that. Corners are rubber covered and double stitched in with reinforced grommets. Tarp is Silver on the face and Black on the reverse. This combo and thickness will block all sun for UV protection of plastic and paints. This is a very good tarp. ... show more

I needed to replace an old tarp that had seen better days. Based on reviews, I selected this Pattiumo tarp as it sounded like it was pretty heavy duty. There’s not a lot to say or test about a tarp, but I can say that this one is heavy duty. It seems well made. The corners are reinforced with plastic and the metal grommets seem good. This tarp is heavy-duty and feels thick. It is rated at 16 mils thickness, but I think this is only at its edges where the grommets are located. That being said, it is still a very nice tarp, and the edges are folded double to reinforce the grommets. One side is gray and the back side is black.

I recently got a different brand “16 mil” tarp, and this one is definitely thicker and made of higher quality material. It deserves the heavy duty designation. The brass grommets are wide and unlikely to pull through. The corner grommets are plastic-reinforced for more durability. One of the plastic corners on mine was cracked at the edge of the grommet, but I don’t expect this to impact the functionality. The edges are cord-reinforced, and the edge seams are heat welded with a wide overlap, not stitched. We’ll see how this holds up. The silver coloring should reduce sun degradation and reflect some heat if you need that feature. The tarp is offered in several sizes, and is a good option if you’re looking for something that will be used in a rough environment. ... show more

Very nice heavy duty tarp at a great price. The 12x20s that are only 12mil thick are usually around $50 at the cheapest, so this one being 16mil for less is great! I use tarps while raking the pine needles off the lawn. I rake them on to the tarp then drag it across the yard, so the heavy duty ones are best. This works great for that.
