This cat tree is quite epic - lots of areas for your cat to hang out, explore, play etc. It is definitely suitable for multiple cats in that respect. Assembly was okay, it was not hard but there were many steps involved, which is probably to be expected for something with so many components. The components screw together rather than requiring a screwdriver, which makes it easy on people with arthritis etc. I think anyone could assemble this cat tree without issue. The material covering most of the unit is a very soft carpet-like material, and the sleep areas are super padded. While it feels nice to the human hand, I'm not so sure cats will love this quite as much, as the sleeping areas are so padded that they stick up like a pillow, rather than having an indentation that cradles the cat. Being on top of a tall post, this might make some cats (and their humans) nervous. Also, my cat loves to use his cat tree as a scratching post. While there are some nice rope areas for this, the "carpeted" areas are what he will go after and the material is so lightweight that I suspect it will get scratched to pieces in a shorter period of time than I'd like. His last tree had heavy-duty industrial-type carpet wrapped around the base posts and he destroyed them! The carpeting on this unit is much lighter-duty. All in all, a good product at a fair price, if you shop around you will see most cat trees are simpler and more expensive than this one. ... show more

I...and our two girls...love this tower! It's the perfect height so that the kitties can be above you, yet you can still reach them to give a little scruff :) There are lots of scratching posts, which is wonderful for the kitties...and they get used A Lot. There are multiple cubbies and holes for them to play with one another...or to get Away from one another...lol My cats Love the two upper platforms and they spend a lot of time on them. They also argue about who gets the tallest one. The quality has been excellent. The design...Superb! The sturdiness is a two way street. On one hand, the tower itself is nice and sturdy. The base is small and doesn't have extra for that support. I get that it's made to Tuck into a corner type area and that's why the base is small. You get a strap to anchor it to the wall ... and I recommend using it...or it Will tip over the first time your cat climbs or jumps on it. I anchored it to the wall and haven't had any problems. Putting it together was a heck of a chore. It took quite a bit of time ... and I used a power screwdriver. It's a lot to put together, but it's amazing once it's done. Our cats absolutely love this. I think it's the height, the placement, the scratching posts and variety of playing/lounging/sleeping areas that they enjoy...because they won't even Touch their old small one now! This cat tree came unassembled but with great instructions and it was together in less than 20 minutes. It seems to be made well, and offers all sorts of levels and cubbies for the cats. I only wish it was a touch more sturdy and the little cubbies and houses were larger to grow better with cats. It fits two cats who are a year old well, but they are small for their age, and I can't imagine it working as well for large cats or older cats who have some weight to them. First off, this was really easy to put together. It comes with everything you need from the little L shaped wrench (or Allen wrench) to all the screws and bits. Everything came labeled and easy to find, and it took me about 15-20 to set it up completely. I did cheat a bit though, as my electric screw driver had a bit that fit the screws perfectly and that made it even easier. I recommend that rout if you have the driver and bits. My cat was interested from the get go, even jumping on it while I was putting it together. So she approves from start to finish. It fits nicely at the end of my bed without taking up too much of my closet space. A few parts stick out but that’s fine. It feels sturdy enough too. I did anchor it to the wall just to be safe as my cat is part Maine coon and she likes to run and jump at things with a bit more momentum than necessary. She jumps, scratches, plays, and will sleep on this. It is a perfect size for her and she, as a 13lb cat, can get into any part of it, even the little hide away spots. This is a great option for a cat tree that saves space but is still large enough for your cats to be higher off the ground and have room to play. ... show more

Was very easy to put together. Were even extra screws just in case you lost one while assembling. As someone who has done that before. Thank you so much for that. Took about 15-20 minutes to assemble without help from that cats. Which was kind of surprising. They weren’t too interested until the top perches with the belled balls went on. As your tightening them in of course the ball chimes and is spinning about. As soon as we finished it was covered in kitties exploring and investigating every part. So far the box hidey is the favorite as everyone takes turns filling that spot. I do not think it will be long before they each have a favorite napping spot. ... show more

We were so excited to get our cat tower. We put it together following every single direction as we’ve put multiple cat towers together. No matter how or what we tried, a large condo base would not line up to the bottom part despite so many attempts to put together in multiple ways following the directions to the last letter. The media could not be loaded. Our cat likes the tree. There's tons of levels for him to play on, and the other day I caught him sleeping in the fabric-sling area (I don't know what to call that). He's proud to have such a nice tower to call his own! I will say that the instructions were difficult to get sorted properly. Apparently there's a section that's difficult because it's hard to tell it's not right until you are nearly finished. Assembly itself is easy but tiresome. You have to screw in a lot of posts and columns so your wrist and forearms get tired.. The columns are really hard to get started. But, at the end of the day it's worth it to see a smile on his face! ... show more
