This lawn chair is SUPER comfy. It feels really nice and sturdy and doesn’t “sink in” when you sit on it like a lot of other chairs. Strong thick fabric/material. Really gorgeous blue color. But what’s most important to me is that it’s comfortable. And I can say it’s the most comfortable lawn/tanning chair I’ve ever used!!! I am reviewing: Oversized Tanning Lounge Chair for Outside, Heavy Duty Chaise Lounge with Face/Arm Hole, Folding Layout Face Down Tanning Chair for Reading Beach Poolside Patio Sunbathing Lawn, 330 LBS, Plus Size This is a pretty cool chair for relaxing and sunning. It's the answer to years of discomfort when trying to lie face down while reading. Sadly, my bifocals still make it a little inconvenient. But young ladies and gentlemen should really enjoy the face and arm holes, as well as the flap that holds the book and shields the wind. I would recommend putting a towel around the face pad because it doesn't come off for cleaning. The material is tight and I do question the weight rating for longevity. It is thin and the frame is not any more robust than other folding chairs I've had. When sitting on the chair, the material stretches, and the strip of hook and loop that holds the flap in place, pulls. The design is good, and the chair folds up easily. It is a little more heavy than most folding chairs, but it isn't too bad. The handle and the shoulder strap make it easy to carry. I think they overvalued it a bit, and my chair came with a stain on the material. There is some dark stuff that looks like some kind of grease, and there is also a spot that some liquid has made, and then bled to increase in size. I'm disappointed about that, but didn't dock more for it. The other thing is that there were material pads banded to the hinges, and they put it on too soon after the coating was put on. The pads stuck to the coating and some of it came off when I removed the pads. Also, they left their imprint in the white coating on the frame. I will get some use out of the chair, in spit of those things. But it was a little bit disappointing for a new thing to not be so new. ... show more

This chair is a wonderful sunbathing chair. It’s very comfortable, I am 510 and 220 pounds. This chair is very sturdy. It’s lightweight, very easy to set up and the side pockets are so convenient for drinks or my phone or my face towel. This is a good purchase.

Update: The seller contacted me directly and apologized over the error, letting me know that they do not have control if Amazon resends a used product. They sent me a new one to replace the used one and this is much better and as expected. It was so nice of them to go above and beyond to correct an issue they may not have been their fault. This alone was enough for a 5 star review and I am really happy with their service and quick response. Plus this chair is so comfy and perfect for what i was needing. There is scratches all over, I got 2 sets of instructions, one that was crumbled and destroyed and another nicer looking one, this reeks of sunscreen so badly and there is oil all over the bars. Really disappointed ... show more

While I will agree with their description that this is a heavy duty chaise lounge, I would have to add that it is not comfortable to me. It is as stiff as a board and will need a cushioned pad to go over it for any kind of long term use, and by long term, I mean anything longer than sitting on it to test it out. I really like the design, and the fact that it has the face/arm holes. Folding it up was pretty easy, however I haven't figured out how to get the last part you fold in (the head piece) to stay in. The other pieces have bungies with clips to grab and hold them all together so it doesn't open in transit. I love that they thought to add a strap for easier carrying. It is well made, and holds up nicely when a fair amount of weight is placed on it, I just wish it was more comfortable. ... show more

After reading other reviews for similar chairs in the STANDARD size I searched until I found this one. It is the goldilocks of beach chairs. I’m 5’3” average build and the OVERSIZED chair is perfectly sized for me.
