I was nervous ordering this cat tree because it is pricey and there were only two reviews. Fortunately, it was the right choice and it’s worth every penny. We had spent weeks trying to find a tree that was well designed, built to withstand 4 cats (2 of whom are on the chonky side) and was aesthetically pleasing; this tree fit the bill. After I ordered it, I could hardly wait for it to arrive. It took a week and arrived on the promised day of delivery. First thrilling moment occurred upon opening the box. The quality is top drawer! It has a thick wood base and platforms. There aren’t any rough edges either. My husband said it was very easy to assemble. It took a day or two for the cats to build up the courage to try it out. Once they did, they were enthralled. The hammocks are huge and well made. They are built for comfort and to last. The enclosed wooden area is lovely and they’ve taken turns grabbing cat naps within it. Another favorite spot is the gray “basket”. Everything about this tree is large, excellent quality, and built to last. It has a fairly large footprint as the platforms extend beyond the base. We get a lot of joy seeing the cats happy, hanging out and playing on their new tree; our joy is compounded by it’s awesomeness and sleek design. ... show more

Really took the time to research and compare and look for a tower that was sturdy, well made, wooden and with NO CARPET, which only breaks down too fast and harmful if swallowed. I will also add that the sisal rope on this tower does not fray. Love the washable cushions. Attractive for the livingroom area and sturdy for two cats jumping, playing. They love the high tower cushion and the felt round but really enjoy the hammocks as well. ... show more

I think this is the nicest cat tree I’ve ever gotten. I have had cats all my life and currently have eight rescues. That said, there were a few things that soured my purchase a bit. The top bed area is supposed to have a screw hole in the middle, but the hole is on the side, so the bed is not centered on the top as pictured in advertisement on Amazon. I wish it were centered. It makes it difficult for my cats to jump to the highest bed. I honestly think they can’t. Also, the bottom square flat bed has three holes on the bottom. Two are used for the columns that hold the bed up and the third hole is for? No clue. And lastly the hook and loop enclosed in my order was only hook, no loop. Luckily I had just bought some velcro and used my own. Other than that, I’m pretty happy with my purchase although I think the price is a little steep. ... show more

The main issue you might have with this product is that it is very heavy and bulky. Fully assembled, it's too wide to fit through common doorways. However, it's still pretty easy to move, as you can loosen the hardware on the large overhangs and platforms that jut out, fold them inward, move to your desired location, and re-secure. So if you're a bit frail, you might want to ask someone stronger to help you with this, and you'll probably be best off assembling it where it will be used. Aside from that, it's extremely well-built. It's made of quality machined, cut and finished plywood, and with some solid wood. The base is heavy and has strong rubber bumpers to keep it from sliding. The hardware is very robust zinc-plated fasteners, so it's very strong and won't rust. It's also very nice to have the removable and washable soft areas. The upholstered cat trees are generally garbage, and underneath the carpet or upholstery is poor quality OSB wood with bad hardware. It wears out becomes unstable. This product has none of those issues, so I think it's worth the price. ... show more

My 3 cats (and I) love this cat tree!! It is a beautiful piece in my home that people compliment and it keeps my cats comfortable when they want to bird watch and stimulated and engaged when they want to climb and play. My mom has 2 of these in her home for her 5 cats and that’s the reason I bought it too! I have collectively spent the same amount of money on various other cat trees and none compare to this one, seriously! It is worth the money. My cats are on it every day. The media could not be loaded. We purchased this cat tree 8/21/2022 and I have to say this is the best cat tree we have ever bought. All the other cat trees we bought in the past lasted for about a year and then they started falling apart. The cat tree gets used a lot since we have 4 cats and this tree is just as sturdy now as it was when we first bought it. The first thing I noticed is when putting this unit together is that the base is made out of 1 inch and all of the levels are made out of 3/4 inch furniture grade plywood instead of the usual carpet covered particle board that most cat trees are made of. The columns are at least 2 to 3 times wider than you find on most cat trees making the unit way more stable and less likely to become wobbly. All of the hardware is also bigger and of a better quality than you find with most cat trees, the point here is that the higher cost is worth it and if you consider that you will go through 3 to 4 cat trees before you wear out this one then you are actually saving money in the long run. ... show more
