My daughters pest control person recommended this. I started using it. I spray about 4 foot up the side of my foundation and house and then 6 foot of the ground around the foundation. Does not harm plants and kills any insects that may try to invade your house. It's good stuff. I live in a fire ant and termite area and it works at keeping them out as well. Here in the desert of AZ we have a number of nasty creepy crawlers. Two months of treatment and I have found a number of dead insects around the foundation of the house. Best of all, it seems to be keeping the scorpions away. Five stars for that!

After years of using pest control companies with mediocre results, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Following extensive research and asking plenty of questions, I settled on Talak 7.9% Insecticide. This is my first time purchasing the product, and I was impressed with how quickly it arrived. I was eager to try it out and immediately sprayed around my house and backyard using a 4-gallon backpack sprayer. The results were noticeable in no time! Make sure to read the label carefully to understand which insects are affected, but so far, I’m very impressed with the effectiveness of this product.     • VERY cost effective and works extremely well.
I have worked as a manager for a pest control company, and the most common insecticide that almost EVERY company uses is Bifen but at a much lower dose to maximize profits. If you went to a big box store to buy an insecticide the concentration of Bifen is usually from .25% to .05% Bifen and the rest is usually plain water. With this product if you mix it @ 1oz per gallon you would have 128 gallons or at .5 oz per gallon you would have 256 gallons of ready to use insecticide as a single gallon from box stores. I've used it to kill thousands of centipedes and ants. My cousin spent $280 for a company to come out and spray one time which had zero results in killing the centipedes. I mixed it at 1 Oz per gallon and every day there was hundreds of dead ones outside for about 4 days and he said it continued to kill insects for 3 months even through the thunderstorms it remained effective. It is used to create a barrier around buildings for termites and is pet and child safe and safe around foods. It's used in restaurants and farms. I used it as a spray on my cattle (only us as this lable states). If you follow the directions exactly, this stuff works extremely well. Used on the lawn, inside the home, outside the home, poultry houses, restaurants, and more. It's safe and effective around children and pets once dry. Once it drys it's bonded to the surface for weeks. If an insect walks over the dried insecticide they will die in a matter of hours. Follow the lables directions and you will not be disappointed. (It is not an immediate killer but death usually occurs within 24 hours and remains effective for months). This is my experience with Bifen. The media could not be loaded. I have a house with a garden and next to the forest. The density of insects and animals is very high. I bought this product, which I see as an must have product for a house.It came in a very good package,withouth any leakage.Very easy to use. The fact that the product is safe after it dries is also a nice feature. I spray my garden and lawn 4 times a year. I have not encountered any animal or pest infestation. Only this summer there was a small carpenter bee nest on my deck. While spraying the deck, I sprayed the surface of the nest months ago. Months later, I saw the bees on the ground. It is really a long-lasting and effective pesticide.Also good size for for the price too. ... show more
