For the price, it's definitely worth it. You get pots and pans and more. I've been using them and have not had an issue with the non stick. If you take care of your kitchen items they will last longer.

Disclaimer: I received this product for no charge through the Vine program, but I have to pay income tax on the retail value of the item. This lightweight set of non-stick aluminum pots, pans, and nylon utensils would make a nice housewarming gift for a son, daughter, or anyone setting up their first household. Included are: 1-quart saucepan and glass lid 3-quart saucepan and lid 5.5 quart double handled pot with lid 5-, 8.5- and 10-inch sauté pans (lids will fit the 8.5- and 10-inch pans) 10-inch griddle Spatula, serving spoon, slotted spoon, ladle, whisk, pasta server 4 measuring cups, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 1 cup 4 measuring spoons 1/4, 1/2, 1 tsp, 1 tbsp 2 seven inch square silicone rubber pot holders The aluminum pans are much lighter than stainless steel, cast iron, or copper cookware. They heat up faster, but also don't retain heat as well as the heavier materials. They are not something a foodie or gourmet chef would use, but for everyday use they will get the job done. The non-stick surface works well, at least when new. A fried egg slipped right off the surface with just a nudge from the spatula. Cleaning is a breeze. As with any other non-stick pan I've owned, including other T-Fal products, the non-stick surface eventually loses its effectiveness after a few years of use. I would expect the same with this set. The griddle and the saute pans have the T-Fal "Thermospot" which changes color when it heats up. There are darker spots on the reddish circle that disappear when heated. I checked them with an infra-red thermometer and found they start to fade at about 300 ℉ and nearly vanish above 400 ℉. This could be useful for someone who is learning to cook and when the pan is hot enough to make a sizzle. The included spatula, whisk, spoons, measuring cups and spoons are all inexpensive plastic, but will do the job until nicer ones are obtained. Likewise, the set itself may be supplemented with other higher quality items down the road, but they will get the new cook off to a good start. ... show more

This is great basic set for cooking. the pots and pans are excellent design with non-stick so good that you can virtually wipe them clean with a paper towel. The listing is very accurate as to how they look and what you get. I took away one star because I would have preferred pots and pans that are induction rated, but these are pure aluminum and therefore will not work on an induction cooktop. ... show more
