Very happy with these lights. Insanely bright and battery life is good. They can be configured a million ways due to the articulating magnetic base and separate hooks. If you want to use them as a hood light you can just stick them on separately, they do not have to be hooked together.

This light set can have many uses. The magnetic base makes it ideal as a work light when working on your car and for roadside emergencies like changing at flat tire in the middle of the night. These are great for carrying in your car on trips and when planning on driving at night. The lights are bright and have several settings. I love all the ways it can be used. The light is bright and the red flashing mode is a bonus! The magnets are strong enough to hold it even if I jostled the car. Great buy!

    • Very bright but base magnets not very strong
These lights came mostly charged and with a power cord. USBC which is nice. The lights are very bright. I used one of them to add light while changing a serpentine belt during the day and it added good light down into the engine bay and illuminated every pulley. Very nice. The only downside I encountered is that the base magnets are not very strong. It will hold the light unless you accidentally bump into it. Even a light touch can cause it to fall and need to be repositioned. All in all, I like the lights and will use them regularly. I would recommend them as long as the magnetic strength isn't critical. ... show more
