Let's start with this: I have 15 cats! Baggy, a big beautiful (don't tell him) black cat was the first to claim ownership. This box went together easily with only the included allen key. Assembly took about 20 minutes. All of the parts fit together very well. The house included a scratch board, a toy on the end of a long spring, and an easily removable top surface that can be washed. The overall quality I would rate very good. The only negative is that the box that forms the "house" is cloth sided. The top is supported by five vertical posts. How long the cats leave the cloth sides intact is questionable. Recommended with caution. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've had many cat trees over the years. Some really large, and some small. This one is fairly small but its good for little kittens to train on before they fall off something tall. The spring toy that is included was quite a hit with some of our cats at first, but over time they seem to have lost interest in it. They still like to go in it and climb on it though. The other side has a scratch pad ramp on it that they love to scratch at too. I like that its not too big and lightweight, and it helped our kittens get onto the couch easier. ... show more

This cat tree could have been a winner, but unfortunately, there are several flaws. Foremost, the plush interior and exterior fabric sheds a lot—more than my cat which is saying something. It’s simply not the best quality material. Secondly, it’s hard to put together since many of the screws are placed in hard-to-reach areas which shouldn’t be necessary and takes too much time to figure out. Thirdly, it’s overpriced for a structure that doesn’t even have a pole for greater height which cats prefer.
