    • Works amazing for auto litter boxes!
Was on an automatic litter box forum reading through suggestions on how to minimize litter sticking to sides. Read that this helps with smell too. I have the Neakasa auto litter box currently in my home office and I have a nose of a scent hound (great box but i can detetct the scent of the accumulating used litter as the week rolls on). I started adding a small amount of this (1/2-1 cup) to the dirty litter catch bin (which i change out once a week bc I only have one cat). And I sprinkle a couple tablespoons into the fresh litter once a week. Hasn't helped with the sticking to the sides but wow has it helped with the smell!!! I'm writing this now as I realized I forgot to do it 2 days ago when I changed out the catch-bag, and im starting to smell the litter, which lead me to realize how good this works when I do use it! ... show more

    • Wow! Excellent Product
Wow!! Are you kidding me? This stuff is amazing for eliminating ammonia odors in the chicken run! I’m a rookie chicken owner—I’ve only had my 3 girls for a week now—and am just learning the ropes. I pick up droppings daily in the coop and run but because the run has no manufactured floor (it’s just dirt/ground), I know I’m not getting it all. Surely the girls are scratching it in and it all starts to look like dirt. Within 7 days, I went to greet the girls and the ammonia smell about slapped me in the face! I knew I had to do something extra to control the odor, not only for everyone’s health (both for the chickens and us humans) but we also live in a suburb neighborhood and I sure don’t want to hear complaints from the neighbors. I did my usual poop patrol and picked up what I could see. Then after the girls put themselves to bed/roost, I sprinkled this product in the run, not too heavy at first. Then I raked it into the dirt some, sprinkled another light top layer everywhere, and lastly, sprinkled a heavier layer on the spots that appeared more soiled and damp. I left it there to do its thing until morning. Woke up this morning and went to let the girls out of the coop and into the run, and the smell was GONE. NO MORE SMELL! Before I let them roam in the run, I raked in the rest of the granules into the dirt that sat on the soiled parts of the run overnight, which I don’t think I really had to do because the stuff is non-toxic and perfectly safe if ingested, but I mixed it into the dirt anyway. This is an excellent product that does what it claims and I immediately put this on my Amazon subscription list. If you’re having problems with ammonia odors in the run or coop, this product is for you! ... show more

    • Smells good easy to use
It is an easy application. Works well. Nothing overly good or bad about it. Amazon or seller messed up the shipment and put in with many other heavy items. Bag broke at some point and shipper (?) resealed in a diff bag. Was that seller or shipper? Unknown. Product was contained and do not leak.
