I've been using the Sentinel for just over a year now. I've put thousands of rounds through the pistol it is mounted on in that time. I've racked the gun on a table with the sight(I wouldn't recommend this) with no damage to the sight.     • Great optic for the money
This red dot sits in the affordable range of the micro red dots. The construction is great, the brightness settings are perfect for me, and it fits great. I did have some issues after using it the first time at the range, but their customer service and warranty are awesome!!! They sent me out a new one and I was back out shooting within about 2 weeks. The second one has held up great with zero issues and have probably about a 1000 rounds with it. Swampfox also has an awesome military, vet, police, first responders program so I definitely suggest buying off their website if you fit those categories. ... show more

Very disappointed. I have had this red dot for 3 years before I even used it. Installed it onto my hellcat today. Shot 40 rounds with the red dot no issues. Shot # 41 and the hole glass piece shattered. Laser still works just nothing to reflect off of(see pictures). I now have a useless $300 red dot. Highly unsatisfied with this. I should have installed it as soon as I bought it so I could get some help getting a replacement for a faulty product. I do not recommend people buy this. ... show more

    • Good Value and Consistant Performance
I have mounted my example on a Hellcat Pro with the steel shield to accompany it. Presentation out of the package is nice and the dot works well. I have had no issues with loss of zero or battery life. My two complaints for the optic are the fish-eye nature of the glass and the lack of better dot brightness adjust-ability. There is a noticeable jump from the lower 3 brightness levels to the higher ones. When carrying at night or during transitional light at the beginning and end of the day, you end up with a lot of bloom or a very faint dot. Swampfox needs to add an additional intermediate brightness setting to accommodate for these lighting conditions. I have learned to adjust the dot before holstering to the most likely lighting condition and trained around this minor inconvenience. Overall, a fantastic little dot sight that has room for improvement in later generations. ... show more

I love this microdot on my 9mm compact! My 9 has an OR cut slide, and the swamp Fox fits perfectly with a very low profile for co-witnessing! For its size, I think it's a beast of a red dot! Well built, very clear lens, and it has 8 brightness settings. It is sleek! A handsome looking piece for a very handsome handgun! I love this thing. I believe it's the best valued Red Dot out there. Basically co-witnesses with stock Glock sights. No need to upgrade to different b/u sights. SwampFox website spells out exactly how to install on Glock slides i.e. , which screws to use etc. I needed to slightly tweak my holster rig to improve concealment.
