I wanted a compact dot sight for my M&P Shield Plus OR. its the smaller footprint, RMsc. several friends had Swampfox optics and were pleased, so I tried it. it mounts very low, no adapter neaded. with my slightly higher Ameriglo sights I can see my sights thru the optic glass. this helps greatly with dot acquisition, for my habit for decades has been Find The Front Sight. dot is bright & clear, shake awake is the bomb, install was a breeze. no change in presentation has been necessary, except my focus moves from front sight to target focus once I see the dot sitting over the front sight. my shooting is faster and more accurate. this has worked out very well. ... show more

This is by far the best sight I've used on the more budget end. The green dot I find alot easier on the eyes during the day and nicely crisp and visible at night. The "Shake and Wake" and powering on is instant which I love Incase of a self defense situation. After you shoot the dot is centered immediately, I found the cheaper red dots such as ADE are not reset instantly. The swampfox sentinel was zeroed in for my hellcat pro right out of the box which is awesome! My only complaint is the cover it comes with doesn't fit on the optic after installed. I had to take a razor and cut off some of it for it to fit. Other than that I found it an amazing optic.     • Buyer Beware - Unauthorized Dealer - Voided Warranty
The glass broke with less than 100 rounds. The paperwork that came in the branded Swampfox box said to reach out to them with any issues and/or support. We reached out for the lifetime warranty repair and they told us since we bought it from this 3rd party seller (and on Amazon) that the warranty is voided as they were not an Authorized Dealer. We reached back out to the Seller, Grid Tech, and they told us it was out of warranty on their end (it's been less than a year since our purchase date) and to reach out to the manufacturer. So we did exactly that. Swampfox claimed that there's a possibility this is a counterfeit product and they would not honor the warranty. This is frustrating as most optics have lifetime warranty regardless of where it was purchased or by whom. Now that we're out almost $200 we will not be buying from Swampfox or Grid Tech again. ... show more

For the price you can't go wrong with this optic. Fits great on my 43X. The lens is a good size and the green dot shines bright(adjust to personal liking). My only complaint would be replacing the battery would require you removing the optic. As the battery is under the bottom of the optic. Having the ability to change out the battery without removal would be the cherry on top. With that being said, Holosun is still top tier in my opinion. But, that doesn't take away how great this optic is for its price point. For the average owner this would be a great option. ... show more

Looks great and very accurate. Easy controls. Mounted to a hellcat micro osp. Was a direct mount with no plate needed. Also came with a nice little rubber cover for the unit.
