  • Great purchase
Color: Blue
Handle bars are tall enough and can still go more up (I’m 5’4”) , battery lasts I pretty good time I ride about 3 miles to work everyday and it definitely takes me there and back but the battery dies out fast compared to 13 mile range it’s supposed to have. Definitely always charge after use the battery may begin to malfunction if you’re half way and just let it sit around. ... show more

  • Time will tell but so far I’m pretty satisfied👍
Color: Blue
Out of the box this thing looks great and sturdy. It’s easy to use even my 5 year old can rid it... as long as I lower the handle all the way dow past the holes. The screen on the lcd display lights up and only reads KM luckily military trained me to use KM. It also displays the battery life. Curiously it goes up sometimes while riding if I glide and don’t use motor. I guess it charges itself a tiny bit. There are three speed settings plus a manual only mode labeled as 0,1,2, and 3 the whole thing, minus the handles folds up and isn’t too heavy. The solid rubber wheels along with the front shock make for a very smooth ride. As long as you’re under 150lbs it rides like a champ. Has no issue going through grass, however any off road hill climbing is a no go. It does well on light terrain and pavement. The kids love it and so do I as I’m also under 150 😁. I’m hoping the batter lasts a few good years to let the kids grow in to it. Keeps up with my Onewheel Pint pretty well. ... show more

  • Problems from day 1
Color: Red
Unfortunately, I do not recommend purchasing this scooter. We’ve had issues from day one with the charging indicator and the digital display. The handle bars are now coming off. I have contacted customer support and haven’t received a reply in weeks. This was for our son’s birthday and has been a disappointment. ... show more

  • 1st one great still like new. 2nd lasted 13 months
Color: Blue
Purchased one for Christmas in 2019 for oldest son. It has been great still runs and charges like brand new. Ordered another for Christmas 2020. It last just over a year from purchase which was in November. The battery quit charging in December the following year so it was used about 11 months. I tried to file a warranty claim but it had been over 1 year from purchase date so pretty much screw you. Quality apparently dropped dramatically and customer service was useless. Oh they did offer if I paid shipping to return and they diagnosed the problem being from a series batteries that had issues that they would only make me pay $82 and ship back for free. Otherwise it was $40 shipping to them, new battery $115 and another $40 to ship back to me. I paid $199. That Chinese math doesn't really work for me. Overall quality control horrible, sturdy and nice equipment when working properly, terrible customer service. ... show more

  • Broke in only a few months
Color: Orange
We absolutely love this scooter and my son had great fun with it… until the lever broke and it no longer works. For such an expensive price tag, I am disappointed we weren’t even able to get through one summer of usage.

Hit a small bump, the lock jammed up...now the wires aren't even connected anymore...so it's broken...

  • 2 failed units, clowns refuse responsibility.
This review is long, long overdue. It was prompted by yet another marketing email from Swagtron - their scooters failed, but I'm now firmly on their "spam" list (I did ask them to take me off the list, which didn't work). When I purchased the scooter, Swagtron site claimed 1y warranty. This scooter stopped working within 3 months - wouldn't turn on. I talked to amazon first, was redirected to Swagtron, then life caught on, long story short - I spoke with Swagtron couple of months later. No biggie, right? It's 1y anyways, right? Well... Swagtron refused to honor the warranty, stating that it's outside of 90 days. I pointed out that all widely available materials state 1y (and never mind that I started the conversation with amazon long prior). To which they said that I looked for the warranty information in the wrong place ("wrong place" being their site) and the correct place is "in the product manual on page ___" You can't make this up. This is direct quote: "We are sorry but you are looking for the information regarding the scooter at wrong place, just because it is an old form which we do not recommend to fill and shows the incorrect warranty details." An "old form" with "incorrect warranty details" which they "didn't recommend" was a snapshot of their main page for the warranty information. Email exchanges ensued. There were about 10 of them, going both ways. I doubt that it was my logic and snapshots of their warranty information that did the trick. It was more likely my expressed intent to appeal to Amazon, because they also misrepresented warranty information in the product description and, to boot, Amazon pinged me periodically checking if the resolution was going well. Long story short, they agreed to repair, but I had to send it to them and cover cost of shipping (ouch). 3 months later they shipped me a replacement (so much value for me shipping them the defective unit). That replacement lasted 2 months, and stopped working after that. Unlike the first one, it would turn on, but the motor wouldn't engage. I emailed Swagtron, and got the following response: "After reviewing your information, I show that your unit is now outside of its warranty and/or has damage to the item that in not covered under normal manufacturer warranty. We will gladly repair the unit for you, but any parts and labor would be at your cost..." and so on, and so forth. It's worth repeating that this happened after 2 months after I got that replacement unit. This was so ridiculous that it was borderline humorous. I emailed back, referred the support to our first chat, and that was the end of the conversation. No more responses from Swagtron. The only reminder of their existence in my mailbox is influx of their marketing materials. The scooter found it's peace somewhere in the e-wasteland, probably surrounded by obsolete hard drives and used up batteries. Swagtron has now apparently updated warranty information on their main site to "1 year or 90 days depending on the model". This is a bit more honest than the info that I have in the snapshots taken back in a day. To be clear: my kid (the user of the unit) is not new to personal mobility devices. He uses few other types, no issues. I used this failure as an opportunity to get him a better model of a scooter, no issues yet again (knocking on the wood). It's just Swagtron. Twice in a row. Each within 3 months, occasional use. What are the odds of that? And how does it have 4 stars? (with 18% 1-star reviews) ... show more
