My 10 year old nephew loves this scooter. He mastered it within hours of getting it for Christmas this year. Now beware parents/guardians. You will max out your daily steps when chasing them around

First off, you get what you pay for. We ordered this because we were looking for an entry-level scooter. It arrived quickly and safely. However, after putting it together, it is evident that it was a pretty cheaply made scooter that appeared much smaller than expected. At first I seen the reviews, that's why I bought it. My son is almost 6 and I didn't want to get an electric scooter that was too fast for him. I didn't want him getting hurt. I love this product for my 7 year old. She gets enough speed to not make me worry, and she really enjoys riding it around the neighborhood. I would think it may be a little slow for older kids or kids who like speed.
