  • Very sturdy!
We bought this for our 1,000 mile trip and had limited space in the bed of the truck. The instructions are garbage but with looking at the photo my husband and I figured it out pretty easily. It was put on the day before we were set to leave. With 2 vehicles, I ended up being the follow car and got very familiar at staring at the back of our camper for a couple days. This rack did not move, did not bounce around and the bikes stayed in the exact same spot the whole time! As long as it's installed properly and the bikes are strapped down well, I wouldn't see any issues with this item. We are happy we purchased this one and not something that attached to the hitch. ... show more

  • great, but could be better
So ive struggled with bike racks for our camper. we have 3-4 bikes normally ranging from ages 7 to old guy.. 😂. The previous racks were aerial and strapped to the frame, but would bounce so much that the handles would hit the camper(even with overtighten of rack and hitch receiver). Wanted to try these rack cause of the stability and not swining around. It has 2 bars that attach in 2 different places to assist with the security of the bikes. Problem I see is that the bars dont line up with the bikes. So you have to place bike outside of the skinny tire placement. Also the rack is great if you have the same style bikes... each of our bikes are different lengths and heights of course. I measured one bike to attach bike to camper, but the newer version of the 2nd bike is 2" longer, which now makes the bike rack to close. and on the kids bike, i can only use one wheel to drop in to rack, the bike aint long enough.. 😂 I love how sturdy it is and the construction material used. i think the uprights need more engineering. thank you ... show more

  • Good fit
We were concerned that it might not fit around the spare tire but it fit perfectly! Easily holds 2 bikes.

  • Highly recommended. Very sturdy.
This is not a paid advertisement. I researched several bike racks and purchased this one after seeing it mounted to another travel trailer. I am happy to recommend this bike rack. We just completed a 2900 mile journey with four bikes on the rack, and as full-time RV'ers it will get used constantly. I have the bike rack attached to the 4" bumper on my travel trailer, and it is extremely sturdy. I was looking for something that I felt safe carrying 4 bikes on for many years and this really fit the bill. It is well built and allows proper spacing for the bikes to be secured well. The rack is attached securely at multiple points on the bumper, to distribute the load. We are carrying 3 adult bikes and 1 16" child bike, but I would have no problem carrying 4 adult bikes. The only drawback to this rack is that all the bikes should have similar wheelbases. The rack holds the bikes securely by allowing the wheels to settle into wheel wells. You set the distance between the racks based on the wheelbase of your bike. If another bike has a shorter or longer wheelbase only one wheel will fit securely in the wheel well. We dealt with this by putting the smallest bike in the inside position (closest to the trailer) and strapping it in very well, but only the rear wheel is in the wheel well, with the front tire sitting on the edge of the rack. Even in this configuration, after 2900 miles none of the bikes had moved at all. Visit MovingToAmerica(dot)me to see video and photos of this bike rack in action. ... show more

  • Sturdy and well built
The product is sturdy as describe and held up well. My only issue is that if your bumper is as close as mine is your going to have to modify it to get it to work. I also had to remove my spare tire holder. I chose the 4 bike bigger version because I hated loading the bikes in and out of the camper. Now had my camper bumper been out about 3” this would have gone on in a snap. It’s a 2 person project if you get the 4 bike kit. Held all for bikes like a champ after I MacGyvered the heck out of it. Why did I not just it back? Well because of Covid it showed up the day before the long camping trip and I had no time to get something different so I made it work. ... show more

  • Perfect!!
Finally found a bike rack for all our bikes that won’t rip the bumper off the travel trailer. After we rewelded the back bumper from a different bike rack mishap….we bought this one. We loaded it with 4 bikes, all adult size and drove it 5 1/2 hours North on a camping trip. Bikes and bumper didn’t budge!!! So happy. We did buy ratchet straps to tie down the bikes on the rack. ... show more

  • Works fantastic!
While on vacation camping at the beach, my family purchased 3 bicycles and wasn't sure how we were going to transport them home. This rack is durable, sturdy and dependable. We have only used it for bicycles and I'm not sure I would recommend it being used for any other purposes. I would add a little bit to the design and place a or some sort of other brace to prevent bicycles or the handles from bouncing into the back of your camper during transport or rubbing the back of it. It would also be helpful when securing the bicycles with ratchet straps. Another thing that I would do to modify the rack is to have a least 1 or 2 spots adjustable to the bicycle tire size. My son has a fat tire bicycle and it was a little difficult to secure onto the rack. We use a cut foam pool noodle to prevent any mishaps with the bikes rubbing against each other or the camper because like the camper will sometimes bounce during transit so will anything attached to it. Even though I mentioned a couple design improvements I would definitely purchase this again if needed and we also recommend it to our fellow camping friends. Overall we are very satisfied with this rack. It definitely gets the job done. ... show more
