We've been testing these in our backyard for a few weeks. They've held up well with heavy rains, and I haven't seen any signs of rust or damage from keeping them outside. You may find these more comfortable with a cushion on top. The back is adjustable, but my family commented that they wished the knee/foot area was also adjustable. We just opened them and set them up. One is fine the other is defective. The bolt hole was not in good placement and when my husband sat on it for the first time it collapsed and broke... We requested a replacement but I guess you get what you get for the price.

This adjustable tanning chair is great. It is lightweight and portable. Although I got it for the beach, I set it up in the yard. I added a cushion for a pillow and have been enjoying it since. Since there are two chairs, my dog Milo claimed one. He hops on the chair besides me and relaxes. It is low to the ground and has a large area for him to rest on which he appreciates. I actually use it more than I thought I would and am looking forward to bringing it to the beach. ... show more

Okay, I was excited about these but they are extremely "rinky dinky". I am 110 lbs and I feel like I am going to rip the bottom out and break it. The metal is thin, I feel like we will bend it if we sit on it for too long. They are uncomfortable.

These are very comfortable! It took me a second to figure out how to get the bar to hold up the front end so I could lean on it comfortably but once it was set it up stayed. These chairs feel sturdy and comfortable. They are compact when folded, and have nice carrying handles on top. I am taking a star off because there is no locking mechanism, either when it's open or closed. This means that when the chair is closed, it can randomly swing open if you don't pick it up from both sides. Also, while you are opening or closing the chair, the joints don't stay at the open position, so a joint on one end might open or collapse in the wrong direction while you are working on the other end of the chair. It is not an issue when actually laying on the chair, but it does make it annoying to set up and collapse it. This does not apply to the seat back angle, which does have a locking mechanism for various degrees of recline. ... show more
