It works great. I had pruned some trees and was attempting to cut them up small enough to fit in the weekly garbage can. It was going to take forever to get rid of all these limbs. I bought this chipper purely because it was the cheapest one, it had decent reviews, and it was available in 2 days with Prime. I was not disappointed. This little chipper reduced a pickup bed of limbs and branches to a pile of much in about an hour. No complaints at all. I checked into rentals in my area. If I use this little chipper 3 times it's paid for itself. Rentals aren't cheap and I have to go get it -- then return it. This little chipper fits in a small corner of the garage. ... show more

This is great small diameter chipper. Any thing over 2 inches in diameter is a push. Green branches work best and don’t over feed. Works great , starts easy and made the wife very happy with the new mulch in the green house. Worth the price

    • If you try this chipper, you won't buy it!
WAY TOO LOUD, does not self-feed, you must force limbs into the machine and push very hard, even small branches must be forced into the feed opening. The vibrations through the limbs into your hands makes your hands numb, even wearing the very heavy leather work gloves does not prevent this danger of nerve damage. When the machine gets clogged up with branches that don't get chipped up, it's a job to dissemble the feed funnel attachment assembly. After this happens a couple times it's obvious the machine was not designed to make this repeat problem manageable. Very sad that the designer is not forced to use the product prior to selling thousands of these units. We are such gullible customers and accept this junk because it's the only entry level priced chipper and we figure all the big stores sell the same unit so it must be ok. I made this mistake. A real chipper costs three times what this cost! Don' say you weren't warned. I don't expect this review to stand but if it does YEA AMAZON!! ... show more

This is a small unit meant for backyard DIY. You have to feed the branches, it really doesn’t suck them in. It definitely isn’t chipping a 3” branch. 2” if you go very slowly. It’s super simple to start and easy to unclog. Makes great mulch. I highly recommend for a homestead. I do wish there was a handle making it easier to maneuver, but that’s nowhere near a deal breaker ... show more

    • Make sure all bolts tight
works ok, awkward to move around , But it is ok for the money spent,,, Just make sure all bolts are tight and stay tight,, Mine would not run but a minute or 2 on first start up,, found a pinched fuel line, repositioned and was fine.

    • Not very handy at all
Everytime I use this chipper it gets clogged and shuts off. I have to take it apart multiple times during every use. Cleaning out the junk binding it up is very tedious since the debris is normally below the blade and I have to dig it out a little at a time. Not a great design. Decided to give this a chance. Got it setup. It started in the first pull. Things looked good. First stick went through fine. Second stick went through fine. Third stick broke the whole machine. When you try to start it sounds like the engine has a bolt shaking around in it. I tried contacting customer service and just keep getting the message that no one is available to take my call. If I can’t get a resolution soon it looks like I’ll have to do a chargeback. ... show more
