  • Truly the Best Insoles for Foot Pain
Size: 9.5-11 Men / 10.5-12 Women
I have been wearing Superfeet Green insoles now for nearly a decade. I have tried other brands, and even other models of Superfeet insoles (blue, berry, copper, and orange), but none of them have worked as well. At least in my experience, the build and quality of these insoles have remained the same every time I have replaced them. I tried these for the first time about 10 years ago when I developed a serious case of plantar fasciitis. It was bad. My job at the time required a lot of walking and my feet just couldn't handle it. Someone recommended that I try Superfeet, and at first I had no idea which of the insoles they make would be best for me. I have very low arches that are borderline flat, so naturally I first tried insoles for my actual foot type. They were ok but didn't really make a difference with my pain. So I decided to try the Green even though it was advertised for high arches. THAT is when I discovered my soul mate was a shoe insole. Everyone is different but let me tell you what to more or less expect if you've never used these before. These are not your typical cushiony, pillowy insoles that make you feel like you're walking on air. These are solid, and the foam is very dense and firm. I can see why this may put some people off; after all, at first feel they seem like they'll only make foot pain WORSE, not better. And truth be told, they DO hurt if you're not used to them. Seems counterintuitive, right? It's important to be aware that this initial discomfort is NORMAL and very common amongst first time users. In the beginning you may feel frustrated for having spent this much on insoles that seem to make the pain worse. But trust me, you NEED to give them time to break in. Your feet are likely not accustomed to this level of support, and yet that's exactly what those feet need. Especially if you have flat feet or low arches. These insoles force your feet into a more arched position which at first feels completely unnatural. But flat and low arches can bring on issues like knee and hip pain from taking on more weight that is more evenly distributed by those with normal arches. So yes, they are uncomfortable at first. You need to ease into them at your own pace. Wear them for an hour a day, then two hours, and so forth, and eventually the pain will not only go away, but you'll be amazed at what a huge difference they make. I use them in my everyday walking shoes as well as my running and trail shoes. No matter what the activity is, these insoles allow me to do it pain free. There are a few things to be aware of though that can't really be changed. Because they are so firm and don't really have any "give" when weight is applied, it COULD potentially change the way your shoe fits. These fit nicely into my medium width shoes as well as my wide fit shoes, but the fit is snug. It also will raise your heel somewhat. I've never found them to raise it so high that the shoe is unwearable though, and my feet still feel secure in the shoe. In fact, this slight heel raise has actually helped me wear shoes I couldn't before because of heel rubbing. These lift my heels just enough so that I no longer have that issue. The one thing I don't like is that these insoles can potentially change the performance of the shoe. For example, I have a great pair of running shoes that have a "springy" heel which feels really great when I do speed runs. But the springy-ness is noticeably dulled when using these insoles. Superfeet make a different insole that is specifically designed for runners, but nothing has been as good as the Green for pain relief and support. And ultimately that's more important to me. Hopefully this information helps you in your insole search quest. Remember, have patience, break them in and don't give up on them the first day. Your aching feet will thank you later and you'll wonder how you survived all this time without them. ... show more

  • Work like magic
Size: 7.5-9 Men / 8.5-10 Women
I was about to buy one of the jelly type inserts when I read on Reddit a warning that its not the right way to go and that Superfeet is better for feet pain. I don't have full plantar fasciitis, but have recently upped my walking and continue to get pain here and there so reluctant to ramp-up it up further. The benefit of these is arch support especially if you have Pas Cavus (high-arches). The jelly type ones are comfortable in the near term but in the long-term they soften your feet (like an unused muscle). Superfeet green were a perfect fit in size 9 and have completely changed my walking. This isn't the easy way out, its little uncomfortable to begin with, but once the muscles in the feet start to heal then the pain goes way. ... show more

  • My Feet Have Seen the Light!
Size: 9.5-11 Men / 10.5-12 Women
These insoles are like hiring a personal trainer for your feet—life-changing support, especially if you have high arches. The trim-to-fit feature is a breeze, and once in, they turned my sneakers into luxury orthopedics. Perfect for long walks or all-day errands—my feet no longer feel like they're staging a rebellion! Pricey, but worth every cent for the comfort upgrade. ... show more

  • Very comfortable but very loud
Size: 11.5-13 Men / 12.5-14 Women
I got these to help with plantar fasciitis and so far in that regard, they seem to be helping me out. The insoles are hard all throughout with a plastic plate for more support in the heel area. They fit into my shoe easily and the size was no issue at all. Trimming them on the sides is not doable due to the plastic plate but the fronts can be trimmed down no issue. My one and only problem with them is that they squeak a ton. Every single step has a squeaking noise coming from the heel plate. It doesn't bother me nearly enough to stop using them, but figure for some people it could become annoying. ... show more

  • Best ones out there
Size: 7.5-9 Men / 8.5-10 Women
They last and don’t fall apart. And give my high arches great support. I use them in all my shoes. And I hand washed them, air dry and they come out fine. This is the one brand my dr gave me for my plantar fascitis. Cost more than many others, but worth it.

  • Great for me
Size: 7.5-9 Men / 8.5-10 Women
I’m really active between work and home wearing boots anywhere from 10-16 hours a day. I’ve got these in all my boots now and I really like them. I have a pretty high arch but prefer barefoot minimalist footwear and these are very comfortable. Not to soft, supports the arch, fit in my boots well. Was dealing with plantar fasciitis in my right foot for many weeks limping when I got out of bed every morning. Won’t say it’s JUST the insoles but the pain is gone and I’m still running 1-3 miles every day. ... show more

  • Pretty good actually

20240801 Update: Squeak squeakity squeak squeak. Squeak squeak supersqueak squeak squeak embarassing squeak squeak more squeak. Squeakito squeakopotmus squeakburg! Squeak squeakers? Squeak squeakerton squeak squeakmas presqueak and postsqueak. But That Squeakenties Show squeak squeak. These are actually pretty good insoles. I'm flat footed and have thin foot pads (line up to the left, ladies). I've been battling with PTSD bruising for years, even spending a small fortune at the Good Feet store. They have a good product but it's more of a half insole rather than a full insole like this Superfeet insole. I got the high arch and the medium arch which are both very similar but the high arch is going well. I still have the bruising, but the insole is comfortable enough that I can still do my 3 miles of walking every morning. One thing that drives me nuts about these insoles is the fact that they squeak. With every single step. All the time. Squeaking. I found online that someone used athletic tape to cover the bottom of his insole so I did the same thing with what I had lying around and that was blue painters tape. That has worked out very well. I wish Superfeet would at some Teflon coating or something. Other than that, they're pretty good. ... show more
