This is a great under grill mat to keep my brand new patio clean and long lasting. I love the huge size and it can fit for almost all of the grills. It's thick, waterproof and fireproof, and I would expect it to last a long long time. The anti slip feature will ensure the mat will stay at the designated area and not moving around. So I did not use this for it's intended purpose. I gave my niece one of my older treadmills to use and she was worried that the friction would start a fire on her carpeted floors. I gave her this to ease her mind. This is a very light cloth that came rolled up. I don't see it really doing well outdoors. I think you'd have to put something heavy on the 4 corners to keep it down. This works great for what I need it for, but I don't think I'd get this for my grill. ... show more

Ok, so I get that the dimensions are listed but once it's under the grill...it's definitely looks smaller than the photos. But that's not really too big of a concern considering this is meant to protect the patio from grease and drippings and hot ash, which it seems to do well. The cleanup isn't as easy as suggested, and that's because of the size. Grease tends to slide off and you need to get something super absorbent to keep it from leaking off the mat and onto the patio. While the mat itself is easy to clean, you have to exercise some caution to protect the patio just a heads up. It's not to bad cleaning off ash, just sweep it off and then into a dustpan. It's kinda thin, not really good for making as a permanent may. The sun started fading it quickly and was starting to grey on the edges even in a winter sun. Overall I'm not super impressed. It's beneficial for some things but not something I'd consider as a permanent solution to keeping the patio or porch clean. ... show more

This mat is perfect for protecting your deck or patio from grease, heat, or other mess from outdoor cooking. It is easy to clean as you can simply hose it down with water or for stubborn grease give a gentle scrub. It folds easily for storage as well.
