Td:lr- the clock works well, most days I don’t need to use the sound, it’s easy to work and does it’s job. I personally have radio issues tho, so it doesn’t play any stations So I recently got this clock for Christmas, I tend to struggle slightly with waking up in the dark, especially in winter. So when I got this clock I thought “wow, wonder if this will work?” And I can say, it definitely does! The setting up wasn’t to hard and I had fun looking through the options. The colors that the light uses is very pleasant and nice, and the white light is yellow toned so it feels very much like day light when it goes off in the morning. I’ve only been using the clock for maybe a week, but it’s really nice! It’s sleek and just the right size for me, roughy that of a medium salad bowl I’d say. I wake up feeling awake, I don’t really feel like rolling over and going back to bed, since the light it helping regulate my sleep rhythm I believe. Features I enjoy personally: The clock has different colors that make it feel very cozy when I want The night light+ sound feature helps a lot on settling my mind The buttons are easy to identify and use. Things that haven’t worked for me as much, but are still nice: The FM radio, I like the idea of the feature, I just think that the intent doesn’t work quite right, at least not in my room. But that’s really not what I went for in this clock. The display of the time is a cool toned light so that can be sorta unpleasant when I settle in for bed, luckily that display can be turned off and it usual turns on on it’s own. I bought this wake up light after a disappointing experience with a previous companies wake up clock. This clock is very simple to configure each setting. I love it. The base of the clock is wide and heavy enough to prevent it from falling over easily. You can dim or brighten the light. The sound settings are actually soothing and not annoyingly fake. I haven’t yet figured out how to dim the clock time but I’m sure I will be able to figure that out, because there’s a QR code on the box with a user tutorial! The light slowly brightens before the alarm goes off, which helps me wake up calm and relaxed. I’m currently using the birds sound for waking. I do not use the FM radio feature, nor find it a useful inclusion in the product. There are only a few radio stations that I use and I would not want to wake up to any of them. Clearly, that’s my personal preference. Overall, I am very pleased with the aesthetics and function of this product, and would highly recommend it. ... show more

    • Great sound choice, wake-up light is great!
Cons: Even when I set the alarm for AM, once I check it, it always says PM. However, it DOES wake me up on time in the morning. Something is faulty there. I purchased a second one for my children and the same glitch is there. AM alarm switches display to PM yet still wakes at AM set time. Pros: Everything else! I love this alarm clock. Let me count the ways: 1) The slowly illuminating disc light is a wonderful way to wake up. After only a handful of days, I am able to wake up before the sounds even go off! A visual awaking doesn't jolt my body like a sharp sound. It really is very soothing. And I can set the illumination intensity. 2) The wake up sounds. A decent variety to choose from; birds, ocean, musical notes, traditional blaring ringing. They increase in volume, slowly. And you can set the volume level of the alarm. The sound never has to get horribly loud. Perfect! 3) The fall-asleep feature. Choose your sounds and length of time the dim light is on and you're set! Turn this feature on as a soothing 30, 60, or 90 minute way to fall asleep with gentle sounds and a dim light that turns off after your designated time. 4) Sound choice! I love the ocean waves and seagulls chirping and the night time crickets. 5) Light colors & illumination levels. True to the product description and pictures. 6) The clock is dimmable! And also you have the option to turn it off completely but the alarm will still illuminate and sound in the morning. Win win! I only use this alarm clock plugged in. I will start by stating that I'm a light sleeper, so it doesn't take much to wake me up. That said, I have a much harder time waking up in winter. I usually use therapy lamps to help me get going, but the problem would be waking up to turn them on in the first place. I'm glad alarm clocks like this exist now, because having it automatically light up really solves that issue. For this one in particular, I think it has all the basic functions anyone could need. It'll start lighting up 30 mins before the alarm like the item description says, and I've found that I usually wake up from the light 5-10 minutes before the alarm even sounds. I've been using it for about a month and a half now, and I think I've only been woken by the alarm sound 3 or 4 times, when I happen to be facing away from the light. Even then, it's been a lot easier for me to get up. You can set 2 alarm times, which works pretty well since I have one for the weekdays and one for weekends. One small complaint that I've seen from others too is that the clock display could be kinda bright even on the lowest setting. I still wanted to see the time without turning it completely off, but the lowest light setting can still be pretty bright at night. I found that it was pretty easy to manage just by putting some washi tape on it. I can still see the time when I glance over, but it's much less jarring at night. The multiple colored lights are also nice for when I'm just in bed reading before I fall asleep. I haven't used the radio function, so I can't really speak on that. ... show more
