Super easy and intuitive to set up. Arrived 4 days early, in perfect condition. All welds look and feel clean and solid. Clips are sturdy. I am 5'6"/280Lbs, and it has absolutely no problem handling me throwing myself into my swing and aggressively bouncing/swinging myself all over the place. I think this would Not be ideal for a sex swing due to height reasons, though I think it's definitely rugged enough to handle it. May work well as a hard point for short folks. I wish I would've actually measured for height before ordering, cuz this thing is quite a bit shorter than I anticipated.     • Really sturdy and easy to assemble
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was because the arm has some movement that makes me wonder how long it will last. But it's holding up great! We have had up to 300 lbs on it at one time, and it held up just fine. Easy to slide around on my wood floors. I would have to unscrew it to make it 2 pieces if I were to change rooms. But I would prefer it be so large to hold the weight, so no complaints here! ... show more

Does not sit flat on the deck (no matter what I tried so it leans horribly when someone sits in the chair I hung from it. Maybe this one is a "one off" as far as quality goes, but I DO NOT recommend this to anyone. Find another option.

We had gotten the stand,but there was no hardware in the box. We contacted the manufacturer and they sent us the hardware. We put the stand together with no problems. Thank you so much.

This stand seems quite solid. It is large as described and was packaged very well with easy instructions to follow to install. The coil is tight so the chair sits higher than the previous stand we used but we like it! Hoping the welds and metal will hold and it is true to the weight limit. Arrived as promised. ... show more

No problem at all with this product. One of its many pluses is the U Shaped base. I step off my egg chair without a tripping hazard at my feet that would come with a circular base. Recommending this product to anyone who is in the market for a hanging chair stand.

    • Next time include instructions on assembly.
It took longer to get the packing material off than too assemble. No assembly instructions were included but it wasn’t too difficult. We instructions would have made it easier.
