  • Easy to assemble, fun to use!
Style: Classic
4.5 stars rounded up - I love this little machine! Took less than 15 minutes to assemble and way less time than that playing around on it to know this was a great purchase. Pros: Takes up very little floor space; The only resistance is your body weight so you can isolate different muscle groups just by shifting your weight; Each side operates independently so you can also use it like an upright rower; It's super quiet; The digital readout is easy to use and to read. I've only been using it for 5 days and my arms, shoulders, chest, and core are feeling amazing! Cons: It does bounce a bit if you really get pumping - I'm a lady of medium height and weight and I can see that it might be less stable for someone much taller or heavier; it's not *that* easy to fold up, and the waist cushion doesn't fold at all, so there's no way to slide it under the bed, for example. If it folded easier this would be a five-star product, hands down! Also, while it's pretty lightweight for an exercise machine, my delivery carrier could not carry it up my short driveway and just left it in front of the garage. ... show more

  • Excellent quality and Value
Style: Classic
Ok I wanted to wait a few weeks before I gave an honest opinion. We’ll, I love love love this little machine! It’s nearly silent, easy to use but gets that heart rate up there. Finally an exercise I truly enjoy and do not dread. I can tell I’ve lost inches already! I can’t believe it’s down to $79 bucks now, I paid 89 for mine and was happy. It was simple to put together, very compact and easy to move around. I’m only 4’11” so the stride is more than enough for me. The little timer / step counter works great, just push & hold to clear for your next session. TIP I did not use the support bar it just gets in the way. If you lean forward a little you’ll feel more in the back of your legs & butt. Do a slight bend in your knees and a slight lean back and WOW you can feel it in your Abs! I can’t say enough about this mighty little glider. Thanks Sunny Health for helping me get back into to exercising again! ... show more

  • It not perfect but
Style: Classic
I have been using home ellipticals for the past 20 years (or more). They always break so you better get warranty protection. However the last one I got broke within 90 days and was always breaking. The guy came out so much that he begged the corp to give my money back and they did. I lost about 2 years of my 2nd daily work out and had broken a 2 a day workout regime that I had going for over 20 years. So, this time I went with a slider/elip that was so inexpensive, that if it breaks after a year, I'll get another. The set up was easy until I got to one part where you have to match up the machine legs to the body. The holes did not align. I was tempted to get out a drill and expand the hole, but they would almost assuredly cause me refund problems. So, with a little bit of muscle and a rubber hammer I knocked that pin into place. Shame on you guy for poor quality control. The slider is far quieter than a regular elliptical, but its a slider. The range of motion was a big, big disappointment. You can't get those wide slides of a regular ellip, but the slide you do get is enough for a home workout. Strangely because the machine is so light, you have to maintain a kind of balance. It's nothing a normal elliptical user can't handle, and I actually like the extra attention I have to pay to balance. It really does make up for the short slide. It's an alright machine. It's cheap and gets the job done. And maybe when this one breaks down, I will up grade to a better slider. but for now, I am working to get back to my 2 a day work outs. ... show more

  • Got compact space and a need to go non-impact after you've been out of the gym for a bit?
Style: Classic
Summary: works in my compact space and for my current re-introductory workout needs, but if you have space and the budget, get a real elliptical. ****************************************** So with the pandemic, my gym closed and I've pretty much lost all my muscle tone - my PT's would be very upset with me. I have several lower-body injuries that mean I have to go low-to-non-impact in my workouts, but I also have to give my muscles some variety to make sure everything is getting worked evenly after nearly 20 years of favoring one side. But, I'm also in a condo and have very limited space for multiple home workout machines. So with those parameters in mind? This glider fits the bill for an elliptical-adjacent workout. (i.e. it's relatively compact & easy to move, as well as works different muscles in a non-impact, upright manner that I'm not achieving with my other equipment.) But, if I had room? I would definitely buy an actual elliptical machine. This really isn't designed to be a performance machine, but it can help you work some muscles if you're just getting into the swing of working out (or trying to get back into a home routine if your gym closed). As others have noted, this is unstable. I ordered saddlebags I can fill with sand - they hold up to 25 lbs each, so I figure two in the front and two in the back should work well to keep it in place. I don't think I'd ever trust it going too fast, which makes it pretty ineffective if you're in good shape and looking for a home-based machine. There's a long pin used to secure the machine if you "fold it", and it's designed to be stored in front arm that supports the torso pad. But, it rattles like mad in there, even with light workouts, so I have placed it somewhere safe in case I want to use it. Leaving it in during workouts is a non-starter since the noise was so loud, it penetrated my noise-blocking headphones...and I was watching an MCU movie with lots of explosions! ****If you want actual elliptical motion, do not buy this.**** It is truly a glider/strider, that goes backwards and forwards, not an elliptical movement at all. I'm fine with that, since my desk cycle gives me good rotational movement and the muscles worked on this are ones I'm not necessarily reaching while using the cycle. But I do miss proper elliptical movement since striding like this feels far less natural. It's very easy to put together and well-packaged. Otherwise? I mean, it's a $99 piece of cardio equipment. If it ends up not working for me, I will be sad because not much fits my space as far as getting anything approaching a real treadmill or elliptical, but I'm not going to be super regretful about what I paid for it. I'm hoping it gets me to a place over the next 6-8 months where I can strengthen up my muscle tone to think about better equipment, or just to be able to do road work (something I can't do right now). If you made me choose which Sunny machine to buy at this price point, I'd honestly go with the rower. It's not a fancy rower, but for introductory workouts, it's a lot more stable and easy to move around if you need to do that. (And if you haven't used a rower before, the bar makes it easy to learn how to do the proper leg/arm combination movement since you're not dealing with a flywheel.) But in the meantime, I'm getting some movement in I haven't been able to get recently which should help me segue into harder floor work from my notebook of PT exercises, all without further damaging the one injury that makes impact workouts difficult for me. So it'll do for now, but I don't see this as a long-term machine. ... show more
