Ok I wanted to wait a few weeks before I gave an honest opinion. We’ll, I love love love this little machine! It’s nearly silent, easy to use but gets that heart rate up there. Finally an exercise I truly enjoy and do not dread. I can tell I’ve lost inches already! I can’t believe it’s down to $79 bucks now, I paid 89 for mine and was happy. It was simple to put together, very compact and easy to move around. I’m only 4’11” so the stride is more than enough for me. The little timer / step counter works great, just push & hold to clear for your next session. TIP I did not use the support bar it just gets in the way. If you lean forward a little you’ll feel more in the back of your legs & butt. Do a slight bend in your knees and a slight lean back and WOW you can feel it in your Abs! I can’t say enough about this mighty little glider. Thanks Sunny Health for helping me get back into to exercising again! ... show more

Okay, first of all let me say I read hundreds of reviews before getting this. I figured I had about a 50/50 shot of liking it. The good news is I actually really do. It gives a decent, low impact workout and I was able to get my Fitbit steps in easily without having to venture out into the cold New England morning and brave the cars racing down my road in the dark before I start work. PROS: it’s cheap! For $86, I think it’s absolutely worth it. That being said, you do get what you pay for. It seems to have decent construction, but it’s probably not going to last forever. That’s why it’s $86 and not $1000, or even the $200+ for the Gazelle (which it seems similar to the basic model of to me). It’s quiet and it’s a good way to add some steps in your day. The adjustable chest/torso pad was fine for me (I’m 5’7”) and my legs didn’t hit the bars at all when slightly bent at the knee in a natural walking position. However, if your stomach isn’t relatively flat, you may want to skip the pad or it will have the affect of feeling like you’re tipping backwards rather than being gently supported at the front. For those who said it chaffed, I didn’t have that issue but I also didn’t grind my stomach into the machine, I just let my ribs sort of rest on it while my core did the work. Even going fast and getting my heart rate up to 150 didn’t produce much noise, which I like. Note, you HAVE to adjust the base by pulling out the pin or you will just have an unsteady machine and tip over. Think of it like an ironing board or folding table. The legs need to be spread out to keep it standing. The foot pedals are fine for me and my husband (size 11 shoe) was fine on it as well. He’s 6ft+ and didn’t have any issues with stride length or the stomach pad either. The computer is basic, but counts steps, gives time and has a calorie estimate. You’ll need to hold the red button to reset every time or it just keeps adding to your steps and count. CONS: The hardware feels a bit cheap, which for the price I expected and am not too worried about. It will slip a bit on hardwood floors, so throw a yoga mat or rug under it. Assembly only took me about 10 minutes, but the pin that holds the base in place was a bit bent so it was super hard to get out and quite stuck. Over all these are minimal issues. Bottom line - if you have realistic expectations this is a great little machine, quiet with a small footprint. If you’re looking for a high quality machine that will last a lifetime, probably better of with a NordicTrack, Bowflex or Peloton. If you’re looking or an elliptical, this isn’t one. If you’re looking for a low impact workout more akin to a brisk walk, you’ll probably be satisfied. I like it. ... show more

I have been using home ellipticals for the past 20 years (or more). They always break so you better get warranty protection. However the last one I got broke within 90 days and was always breaking. The guy came out so much that he begged the corp to give my money back and they did. I lost about 2 years of my 2nd daily work out and had broken a 2 a day workout regime that I had going for over 20 years. So, this time I went with a slider/elip that was so inexpensive, that if it breaks after a year, I'll get another. The set up was easy until I got to one part where you have to match up the machine legs to the body. The holes did not align. I was tempted to get out a drill and expand the hole, but they would almost assuredly cause me refund problems. So, with a little bit of muscle and a rubber hammer I knocked that pin into place. Shame on you guy for poor quality control. The slider is far quieter than a regular elliptical, but its a slider. The range of motion was a big, big disappointment. You can't get those wide slides of a regular ellip, but the slide you do get is enough for a home workout. Strangely because the machine is so light, you have to maintain a kind of balance. It's nothing a normal elliptical user can't handle, and I actually like the extra attention I have to pay to balance. It really does make up for the short slide. It's an alright machine. It's cheap and gets the job done. And maybe when this one breaks down, I will up grade to a better slider. but for now, I am working to get back to my 2 a day work outs. ... show more

I'm 57 & 5 ft. tall. The size is perfect for me & I love that I can fold it up & put it out of the way when I'm not using it. I built it myself in about 15-20 mins, no difficulties at all. The directions were simple but, I loved that I could use & see the tutorial on how to build it, if I was confused. It's very sturdy, easy to use & quite. I really like the padded part, it makes me feel supported & there's no issues with balance. This one will be replacing an older larger one that doesn't fold & takes up a lot of space.
