This filament has a low melting point (190). It has the appearance and feel of real wood unlike others of the same material. It will leave a glue like substance on the print if the nozzle temperature is too high. I use the same settings for MH Build PLA and many other kinds of colored PLA with success, so I didn't have to fiddle with calibration. I like the light pine color, and it resembles the pictures well, but I wish there was more of a wood texture. ISANMATE and AMOLEN PLA have more texture and can be cheaper on the right days, but they're more stringy and require more time to get printing properly. If you're looking for deals: keep an eye out. This can drop down to $15/kg, but ISANMATE has dropped to $12/kg. ... show more

While it printed well it kept clogging and it stunk so badly that we had to continuously circulate more air into the space even though we have adequate ventilation and an air purifier in the space! The smell alone made me ill. Smooth and beautiful color but not something I will buy again.

Everything is costing more these days, including PLA filament. I've had good luck with this brand and a few others that I'll continue to buy. I think most options such as print quality, Adhesion, and Sheerness are more the printer than the filament, especially if kept dry, and moisture free. Like other brands and being new to the whole 3D printing game, prints come out very well considering. I didn't weigh to see if it was exactly what was stated, as again I'm not going to call out that only 999.9 feet came on a 1,000 foot spool, I can splice, and continue to print. In my reviews most of them are highly rated as I look for what I need, prior to buying, and are based on that fact (price/requirement/use). I've not had to contact the seller for any issues or claims, however would not hesitate to purchase this product, or from this seller again. ... show more

Update: changed my review to 1 star. Towards the end of the roll the filament had a tangle and messed up prints. Also I was sent a coupon in the box for another roll 5$. First I contacted them on Amazon asking how to use the coupon for another roll of wood. I was told to contact them via Facebook for instructions. I contacted them on their Facebook page and responses are extremely slow. They finally said I need to join their Facebook group. I did. Then they said I need to leave a good Amazon review and wanted to read/see it then would send a coupon code. Finally they sent me a code and it didn’t work. I asked again, they said sorry you can only choose green pla + and I said heck with it I’ll try it. Very BS because I wanted more wood. When they finally sent me the coupon code after all that, it only knocked off 9$ from the price. These people are dirtbags. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. My original review below was forced This filament is excellent once I figured out not to follow the instructions included that say to print 170-190C I was clogging. But I raised the temp to 215 and it printed this jewelry box which is a total of 45 hours or so of printing. No clogs since raising temp and it works amazing. This was printed at Ender 3 pro 0.12 layer height 215 nozzle 60c bed 50mm/s Sliced with cura Brim only All other settings left alone just using cura profile for ender 3 pro. I plan to buy it again ... show more

The roll comes vacuumed packed with a silica packet to absorb any moisture. Upon unwrapping the filament it is a bit more brittle than standard PLA. Since this was a first time print of wood filament a quick Google search on wood filament reveals that it should be printed at a .2 to .3 layer height and a bit higher temperature than standard PLA. The label on the roll suggests 200 to 230 Degrees Celsius. I chose 215 degrees hot end and 60 degrees bed. The print went well with no issues. A bit of stringing occurred, but with a little bit of clean up I had a beautiful print. I would definitely buy more when this roll runs out. ... show more

nothing to dislike using Bambu lab X1 carbon .4mm nozzle 100% speed no adjustments just standard bambu lab settings for pla.
