I got this for my porch, and it is just as comfortable and fun as I'd hoped! The canvas is sturdy and doesn't look likely to mold if I forget to take it in in the rain. The frame feels heavy and solid, and was pretty easy to assemble by myself (although it would have been easier with a second person to help.) Only two minor drawbacks: 1. converting between chair and hammock is a major PITA, which is why I keep it in chair mode 2. The frame rocks back and forth when I try to swing, which makes it feel a tiny bit unstable That's why it's four stars instead of 5. Still, very happy I got it! ... show more

Purchased this as a birthday gift to myself and I was very afraid it was going to be junk. Y'all I am so happy I got this. The box was heavy so I had to open it to carry it separately to where I needed, it was backed well with bubble wrap around every piece. It was very easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I did not need tools to put it together. It's so comfy and relaxing. I'm currently setting legs up in the chair and just enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors. I love how the back of the chair goes up higher to support my head and I think it would support someone's head much bigger than me too. There is a nice size pocket in the material. The material is thick like canvas, it is a little scratchy but I think that will soften with time. After some time I do thing the rope will need to be replaced if it's left outside but that's the case with anything left outside. This is without a drought worth every penny I spent on it. So this was easy to assemble, the hammock and hammock swing are both sturdy fabric and all the ropes and hooks and stuff seem durable. We really love the swing, it is exactly as expected and super comfortable. The hammock set-up, however, leave a bit to be desired. Like 2-3 feet of width on the stand, a bit. LOL! The stand just doesn’t get wide enough for this hammock, and as a hammock backpacker…I know it’s not wide enough for any comfortable hammock. That said, I actually really like to lay in it perpendicular instead of parallel. It’s like the hammock swing but a hammock swing recliner and is super comfy. If you lay in it the “right” way, parallel, you WILL be in a V shape. I am still buying another one, despite the not-hammock-hammock situation. ... show more

I love this thing but I've always been fond of hammocks. I didn't have a spot to hang one so this is perfect, My deck is large but turning it into a chair makes it very convenient. It has all these holes so you can adjust the hammock depending on how taut or how high you want to sit/lay. If the chair has too much fabric behind you, you need to sit more in the middle of the fabric instead of on the edge...I like to use the extra fabric of the chair to shield me from the sun, draped over my head - almost like a hood. Love it! Waiting til Prime Day made it an even better gift for myself!! With the new tablet on the way, it's perfect stay home summer!! Could not be happier!! ... show more

280 pounds 5' 9", spread open the hammock, sat on it carefully, buttocks grazed the frame, straightened out my body and did not feel the frame, but it was close to the frame. feet were wonderfully elevated, which is the ultimate position for my swollen legs/ankles. The weather is cool and I am on a deck next to the woods and it was just so relaxing. I eventually got up decided to twist the hammock where it attaches to the hook, each end I twisted the opposite way. I went to spread it out to sit on it carefully to see if that would lift me off the ground and went to sit on it and backwards I went as the hammock swung towards my feet and my back landed on the deck squished against the floor between the deck and the frame, I was not hurt but trying to get myself up was making me laugh. An adult shouldn't be in this position on the ground. Now, I am able to lay on the floor, turn to my hands and knees and stand up, so if you are not able to do this, definitely, do try this hammock without someone there to help you or at least a phone so you can call for help if you have fallen and cannot get up, or press your life alert button if you have one. Listen, when I was in the hammock and not touching the frame or falling out, it was the best moment I have had in a long time. I probably should have bought a gym membership instead but whatever...I love this hammock and I am so glad I did not get hurt and I enjoyed trying to figure out how to get in and out. I do recommend bringing a pillow and blanket for the ultimate siesta in the cooler weather. Love this product. but if I was about 300 pounds this product wouldn't work for me. Do record a video of yourself getting in the hammock for the first few times. haha and by the way this frame is incredibly strong, just may need to buy a hammock for heavier people that works better than this one but this does wrap around me, no room for a 2nd body, more worries it would break the hammock than the frame. skinnier people enjoy the snuggle. ... show more

Apparently it is a product that would give its correct use for which it was designed, but there are parts that do not fit well, as well as the pins where they fit do not perform their function, they are small or poorly adjusted. I tried to contact the seller to solve it but there was no way, the packaging box was damaged so I could not get the option to return it, so I assume that I lose my money with this apparently good purchase option. What a disappointment of a product and also of Amazon and the quality that each will demolish more!! ... show more
