  • Effective and Aesthetic
Number of Items: 1 Color: Blush Pink Size: 54" x 84"
I recently purchased the Sun Zero Barrow Energy Efficient Rod Pocket Curtain Single Panel for my bedroom, and after using it for a few weeks, I feel it's time to share my thoughts on this product. Pros: Energy Efficiency: The Sun Zero Barrow curtain does an impressive job of blocking out sunlight and heat from outside. I've noticed a significant reduction in the room's temperature during hot summer afternoons, which has helped in cutting down on my air conditioning usage. Light Blocking: These curtains are quite effective at blocking light. If you're a light sleeper or someone who enjoys a dark room for better sleep quality, these curtains will meet your expectations. Easy Installation: The rod pocket design makes installation a breeze. I didn't need any special tools or skills to put them up. The rod slid through smoothly, and the curtain hung neatly. Aesthetic Appeal: I opted for the Gray color, and it complements my room's decor beautifully. The fabric has a nice texture, adding a touch of elegance to the room. Cons: Single Panel: One of the downsides is that it comes as a single panel. If you have a standard-sized window, you'll need to purchase two panels for a complete look. This can add to the overall cost. Wrinkles: Out of the package, the curtain was quite wrinkled. While they do eventually smooth out, it took a few days, and I had to use a handheld steamer to speed up the process. Limited Color Options: Although I loved the Gray color, the available color options for this curtain are somewhat limited. It would be great to see a broader range of choices. In conclusion, the Sun Zero Barrow Energy Efficient Rod Pocket Curtain Single Panel is a good investment for those looking to improve their room's energy efficiency and block out unwanted light. It's easy to install and adds a touch of style to your space. However, the fact that it comes as a single panel and the initial wrinkles may be minor inconveniences for some. Overall, it's a quality product that fulfills its intended purpose well. ... show more

This curtain is engineered to block out cold drafts in the winter and heat in the summer. The rod pocket style makes installation a breeze. It effortlessly slides onto a curtain rod, and its single panel design is ideal for smaller windows or for adding a decorative touch to a room. The fabric feels durable and well-constructed, ensuring that it can withstand regular use and continue to provide efficiency. • Great quality
Number of Items: 2 Color: Taupe Beige Size: 54" x 95"
I ordered beige and was sent gray, I was disappointed, but worked around the color scheme because it's great quality and blocks out the light.

  • perfect color, budget friendly, wide panels, attractive
Number of Items: 1 Color: Vintage Blue Size: 54" x 84"
This review is for the Vintage Blue curtain panels. I selected these based on the color I was looking for, as well as price, non grommet, and decent width. In short: These met all of my expectations! I love them, super lovely, even better than anticipated! Details: Color: I have a family room that I pretty much kept in warm colors (gold, orange, browns). I acquired a blue and brown rug that I intended for elsewhere when I decided to try it out in my family room. I liked it so much that I thought that if I could find a way to swap to these new colors with out spending a lot, I would go for it. SO I proceeded to look for plain blue curtains. The blue in the rug reminds me of a cornflower blue. When I found this Vintage Blue, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Price: I normally don't comment on price, but here it was part of my selection. If I didn't find cheap enough curtains, I was not likely to make a change to my family room. This was not a need, just an impulsive want to switch things up. Curtain prices vary significantly, and I have noticed though my life that that is not necessarily indicative of quality or performance. Especially if just being used for decorative purpose. At time of my purchase, they were $7.49 a panel. Non grommet: I don't care for the look of grommets, a lot of panel choices are those grommets. These just slide on and have solid material across the top. With this style, the option is almost always there to have the little scrunching at top, or let the panel drape down flat by sliding rod through next section down. Width: The width of these panels are 54". This is pretty generous. I have seen panels (especially in discount stores) where the panels are as little as 20". Many are in the 36-42" range. This additional width will allow for the curtains to maintain a bit of ripple rather when closed than being flat when pulled closed. This also lends to greater privacy. Also accommodates wider area with less panels. I didn't buy these for blocking light, but I do like having them closed at night for a little privacy (despite living in country). They are fine. They are a standard curtain to me. They do not say they are light blocking. They do say that they "blocks out SOME light", and that "Performance varies by color". My medium blue does a nice job giving me privacy and dimming the room when the sun is beating in. I suggest that if more darkening, blocking, or privacy is needed (and you don't want stiff light blocking panels), add in another panel or two. I included a bunch of pics! Color is closest to the photos taken further away. edit/update: Just swinging by to say that I bought two more panels a couple months later, and the dye lot is the same. I was worried they wouldn't be, but all looks the same. PHEW! ... show more

  • No blackouts
Number of Items: 2 Color: Brick Red Size: 54" x 63"
They resist sunlight but are thinner than blackouts. Still effective. Some shine but not too much as to pull on ac or heat up room. I live in the desert, it's hot 9 months of 12. These give ambiance perfectly.

It kept out most of the light. It is good material for the price and it washed well. All in all I will probably move it to a bedroom

I don’t like the shiny material but it’s a good contract to my kitchen/dining area decor.
