  • Budget friendly option
Number of Items: 2 Color: Navy Blue Size: 2"W x 63"L (Pack of 2)
These are not true black out curtains but pretty close---we got the Navy color so they were dark to begin with. Over our windows they keep out nearly all light. Out of the package these are very wrinkled. Wife ran them through the dryer for 10 mins, hung them up, looked fine. I think that for what you pay these are good quality and a fair value. The material is silky and lightweight but not terribly thin. I would buy these again. 6 bucks for 2 drapes that do the job, look good, and easy to clean ... show more

  • Best curtains ever!
Number of Items: 2 Color: Chocolate Brown Size: 54"W x 84"L (Pack of 2)
I needed new curtains because the light shined so much in the bedroom, might as well not have curtains at all before. These curtains block out so much light and look very cute. I do wish the material was thicker as you can see in the photo it’s like you can almost see outside but still it blocks out a lot of light! ... show more

  • perfect color, budget friendly, wide panels, attractive
Number of Items: 1 Color: Vintage Blue Size: 54"W x 84"L (Pack of 1)
This review is for the Vintage Blue curtain panels. I selected these based on the color I was looking for, as well as price, non grommet, and decent width. In short: These met all of my expectations! I love them, super lovely, even better than anticipated! Details: Color: I have a family room that I pretty much kept in warm colors (gold, orange, browns). I acquired a blue and brown rug that I intended for elsewhere when I decided to try it out in my family room. I liked it so much that I thought that if I could find a way to swap to these new colors with out spending a lot, I would go for it. SO I proceeded to look for plain blue curtains. The blue in the rug reminds me of a cornflower blue. When I found this Vintage Blue, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Price: I normally don't comment on price, but here it was part of my selection. If I didn't find cheap enough curtains, I was not likely to make a change to my family room. This was not a need, just an impulsive want to switch things up. Curtain prices vary significantly, and I have noticed though my life that that is not necessarily indicative of quality or performance. Especially if just being used for decorative purpose. At time of my purchase, they were $7.49 a panel. Non grommet: I don't care for the look of grommets, a lot of panel choices are those grommets. These just slide on and have solid material across the top. With this style, the option is almost always there to have the little scrunching at top, or let the panel drape down flat by sliding rod through next section down. Width: The width of these panels are 54". This is pretty generous. I have seen panels (especially in discount stores) where the panels are as little as 20". Many are in the 36-42" range. This additional width will allow for the curtains to maintain a bit of ripple rather when closed than being flat when pulled closed. This also lends to greater privacy. Also accommodates wider area with less panels. I didn't buy these for blocking light, but I do like having them closed at night for a little privacy (despite living in country). They are fine. They are a standard curtain to me. They do not say they are light blocking. They do say that they "blocks out SOME light", and that "Performance varies by color". My medium blue does a nice job giving me privacy and dimming the room when the sun is beating in. I suggest that if more darkening, blocking, or privacy is needed (and you don't want stiff light blocking panels), add in another panel or two. I included a bunch of pics! Color is closest to the photos taken further away. edit/update: Just swinging by to say that I bought two more panels a couple months later, and the dye lot is the same. I was worried they wouldn't be, but all looks the same. PHEW! ... show more

  • Great Price/Decent Curtains
Number of Items: 2 Color: Navy Blue Size: 54"W x 95"L (Pack of 2)
I needed Navy Blue Rod Pocket Curtains With Matching Valances that would fit the windows in my guest room on a strict budget. After an extensive search these are the only ones I found that met all the criteria. They're light filtering but by no means light blocking. However, they do look good for the extremely reasonable price. Others that were total light blocking with rod pockets and matching valances cost $65 more to do both windows! I took off one star because the valances by the same name (Barrow) are actually a shade or two darker Navy than the curtain panels and a couple of the seams are crooked. This may not matter to some but I'm picky like that. Ultimately, after hanging them and spending another 1.25 hours steaming out all the many stubborn wrinkles and cutting off loose threads they look acceptable. ... show more

  • Very Nice and Well Made
Number of Items: 1 Color: Sage Green Size: 54"W x 72"L (Pack of 1)
Color: Sage Green Size: 54 x 72 I like this single pane door panel. I didn't purchase for the energy efficiency of it so I will not speak much to that part. I purchased this panel solely due to its sage green color. Previously purchasing curtains for my bedroom, I was in need of one for the door that leads to the pool that matched in color. Although this is made from a different manufacturer, the sage green color is spot on and matches my regular window curtains perfectly. The straight-lined stitching is very well done. The facing fabric is silky looking as well as to the touch and the backing is a dark (think very dark grey) fabric adhered to the back that prevents anyone from seeing through the curtain and I would imagine, provides an adequate room darkening effect. Since my door is under a roofed area, I wasn't as concerned about room darkening and indeed this is not an advertised feature. As to the energy efficiency, I've only had it a day at this point but I'm sure the efficiency goes up with the curtain closed and the included picture shows the curtain currently open with the provided tie-back. Either way, this door's window does not receive direct sun. ... show more

  • Light filtering, not room darkening, definitely not blackout
Number of Items: 2 Color: Sage Green Size: 54"W x 95"L (Pack of 2)
These are decent for the cheap price (the color & size I bought was cheap, anyway). I needed a 95" long rod-pocket curtain, preferably green, and not too expensive. There weren't a lot of options. I didn't NEED blackout (which I usually do need), but this is described on Amazon as "Opacity: Blackout" and these are nowhere near blackout. The images show a Sun Zero "light block meter" with these as a 2 on a scale of 1-4, with 4 being blackout, but the meter says a 2 is room darkening. Nope. I'd call them light filtering--significant light filtering, but not room darkening. You can see through them (I bought green, which is a dark color) enough to see through a window (in the dark) into a lighted room. A lighter color would be worse. This works for my needs. I usually need blackout curtains and have bought soooo many over the years (through many moves) that claim to be blackout but are not. These are in that category--not as darkening as claimed (by either Amazon's details or the Sun Zero meter). ... show more
