  • Absolutely Correct Sizing for Tapers and Tunnels at a Crazy Cheap Price!!!
I ordered these since they were very cheap for 6 sets of tapers and 6 sets of single flared metal tunnels of sizes 00g-20mm. And I can say that my set is CORRECT in sizing for both the tapers and tunnels and they were very easy to use and gauge up. Now I was already at 12mm but decided to go bigger and so far I have stretched up to 16mm in 2 weeks since my stretch went perfectly: no tearing or bleeding, etc. Hopefully I'll be at 20mm in 8 weeks time since I'm gonna give it 4 weeks to heal up between my 16mm and 18mm stretches. Now I've had my ears stretched to 12mm for over 20 years going back to 10th grade so I WOULD NOT recommend stretching so fast if you don't know what you're doing or you're new to stretching. If everything goes smoothly, I would recommend waiting AT LEAST 4-6 weeks between stretches. Gauging up is something you don't want to rush since I've personally seen some gruesome outcomes of people that were impatient or just didn't know what they're doing and end up mangling their ears to the point they needed surgery to fix the tear. Here's some advice that might be helpful to some folks: Whenever I stretch up I like to use water based lube to generously coat the taper, tunnels and my ears which helps tremendously in sliding everything into place smoothly and comfortably. Also, if you're having troubling getting the tunnel to follow the taper thru your ear, I would suggest using thin, clear scotch tape to tape the tunnel to the taper so it ends up looking like one connected piece so that when you pull the taper the tunnel automatically follows which makes it so much easier that I can normally get it thru on the first try. And I think it goes without saying but ALWAYS wash the tapers, tunnels and O-rings before using them since you have no idea how many hands have touched them before being placed in the baggies. Check out my pics to get a better understanding of what I'm talking about. I'm sure it's gonna help some folks out there to make stretching easier and simpler. I also posted a gauge chart that has sizes in inches and mm. And the pic of my ear is with the 16mm tunnel in it. ... show more

  • Great product for a great price
This is the second set I have purchased, this one for my gal. Both have arrived as stated in the listing, and in perfect condition When first looking at them, you may notice a slight difference in shape / direction, but it only occurs in the actual taper portion. The metal tunnels provided are excellent, and have not shown any signs of impurities or blemishes. The O-rings provided for both the tapers and the tunnels arrived in great shape. If you store them for too long (months) without at least rubbing them in your fingers, they will dry out and fail. These being acrylic, and not being able to properly sterilize them, should not be shared or reused by someone beginning to stretch their lobes, as it may cause inflammation due to buildup in the pores of the taper. The steel tunnels are more than fine to share (the use of an autoclave should be employed in such an event), I have even successfully utilized them as a monetary item in trade for goods. Cleaning and care for the acrylic tapers should never go further than hot water with antibacterial soap. The use of Isopropyl can significantly weaken the structural integrity of the acrylic, along with leaving callous pock marks in the surface of the allowing your skin to essentially adhere to the taper. As for the steel tunnels, Isopropyl Alcohol would be the most effective in sanitizing, make sure to thoroughly rinse with clean water and store in a sealed container. I would highly recommend these tapers to anyone due to the quality of the pieces, speedy shipping and the low price. ... show more

  • Perfect for sizing your ears up
Perfect for sizing your ears up. Everything was there and in nice little bags that labeled the sizes. I did find it weird that they did skip 11mm because for some that can be quite a jump. I'm not going to get into how to stretch your ears using tapers, because you have to do your own research. All I will say is that the taper is not meant to stay in your ear longer than a few minutes and it should never hurt or be forced in. If you are inexperienced with how to size your ears up, check out a reputable website like King's Body Jewelry or Body Art Forms on how to do it. Personally, I could have cared less that they were pink. I got the pink ones because they were cheapest. The acrylic tapers are super light, which is perfect for stretching. If you are leaving tapers in your ear for days on end, your ears will suffer, so even though the package leads you to believe that tapers should stay in, because they come with rubber stoppers, DO NOT LEAVE THESE IN for more than a few minutes. The sizing was correct (I checked them with a gauge measuring tool). The steel plugs were very nicely made and clearly surgical steel because they never rusted or caused any issues. I am allergic to cheap silver, so I would have known right away. It's a good thing the package came with six rubber ends for each size because I lost them so many times. ... show more
