I haven't had my ears stretched for a few years but was able to go straight to an 8 without feeling a tiny pinch. I'm not super particular with what brand or material I use just as long as it's not painted because that can rub off easily. These could be made from a better material than acrylic but fir the price its definitely worth it. Remember to take your time stretching your ears, use jojoba oil, and properly clean your ear lobes so they don't smell. ... show more

(I am absolutely not a professional at ear stretching this is just what I’ve learned through using these tapers and my experience:) )I know that acrylic isn’t the best but honestly the price is really affordable and it lets you get to a pretty big size :). I recommend definitely buying an ear stretching balm or some jojoba oil to heal your ear and help moisturize them to stretch :). The only con I would say it when you jump from I believe 6mm to 8mm I bought a 7mm taper to help and it was great :)! ... show more

This is the second time I’ve gotten a set for gauging my ears so this time I went with red instead of black. I picked these cause I needed non metal ones for an upcoming surgery and these were the best deal plus I loved the color. Honestly can’t go wrong for me anyway! The sizes I’m at fit great and you barely know they’re there! That being said if you’re a first timer getting the silicone ones in will be a tad challenging unfortunately. Overall pretty comfortable unless you size up too fast. Wouldn’t recommend doing the silicone if you’ve just sized up and it’s not healed yet as the skin can heal to it and get stuck or so I’ve been told. They’re not terribly hard to clean at least the acrylic just make sure to remove the o rings- but the silicone might be a bit more challenging. I recommend a q tip with some saline solution or cleaner of your choice that won’t irritate your ears. Safe and happy stretching everyone! ... show more

Giving this product 3 stars just based off of color. The first product photo shows a dark hot pink almost on verge of maroon, the second pic shows pink… I was just in a hurry and didn’t really look at everything and when they arrived I was a little disappointed just cause I was expecting maroon/dark hot pink color and u can clearly see they r pink. But the main issue I’m having is the smaller sizes r like light pink… which I don’t really like at all. But they still work and they r super easy to use. DONT FORGET THE LUBE! Jojoba is a good brand to use! ... show more
