I use a lot of steel wool in my home shop, for polishing finishes, removing rust, and making iron acetate for ebonizing wood. This seems pretty much like any other Chinese-made steel wool I’ve used, be it from Red Devil or whomever. This fine grade steel wool is great for cleaning up rusty or dirty tools. But, its uses don't stop there. I've used it to remove scratches from my stainless steel sink. It removes burnt food from pots and pans. It works on the bottom of the pans as well. I've removed burnt stains on the part of the pan that sits on the burner. It removes oxidation and rust from chrome, metal or steel car rims. This stuff cleans up most metals without added cleaning chemicals. I can't say it will work for everything metal or every metal cleaning scenario. What I can say is its worked very effectively for me removing rust mostly, but it cleans up more than that. Mice and small rodents won't pass through it or walk on it. This stuff is a must have in my home! Highly recommended ... show more
