The sanding pads are small and I use them on my wood lathe and they don't tend to last very long before they fall apart so run the speeds of your lathe really slow and you'll get some more time out of these and I find once they get full of debris it's hard to get it out

These are small sanding sponges that will come in handy for a variety of applications. The sponges are soft and great for curved surfaces. Abrasive surfaces are uniform as far as I can tell. I tested some 180 out on wood and it did fine. I have to check out how they clog with clear coat and epoxy.

Pros: - a good variety of grits - foam is flexible enough for contours but stiff enough for flatter areas - abrasives adhere well to the pads and do not flake or break off - very good for small areas, detailing, spot sanding - great wet sanding capability Cons: - not large enough for larger surface areas or long flat areas I needed this to sand lacquer finish between coats on a small project. Since my flat areas were very short, and I had quite a bit of detailing to do, these sanding pads were ideal. I would definitely buy them again. Highly recommend. ... show more

Love having these on hand. The wide range of grits means I'm prepared for pretty much any sanding/polishing job I'm likely to encounter. These are great quality, wet or dry--super durable, and the felt backing clings well to the sanding block.

Sanding sponges are so much easier to use that plain paper and this is a great variety pack of grits. The sponges themselves are on the thin side so they will contour well to smaller surfaces. I'm using them to clean up 3D prints and they work very well to form to the curved edges. The grits lean fine, which is what I need for a good finish and they seem to be holding up to wet sanding very well. I'd love to see these available in single grit packs as well since I definitely use a few of them much more than others! ... show more
