This is not a fancy item, but these sanding sticks are great when trying to sand in a tight space such as a groove found in carved woodwork and also great for sanding the inside of a hold in (picture a hole drilled in a nice cutting board that is used for hanging the cutting board) Be aware that the 'grit' on these seem to be more agressive than a 280. It's really hard to judge with the sanding surface is not a flat sheet. I kind of thought they were closer to a 150 or so... Just my opinion. These sanding sticks work well in tight spaces - they're long enough to get a good grip, and they have a bit of a point. They do clog up with sawdust pretty quickly, but that can be knocked out with a few hard taps to give you more mileage. The grit is a bit more chunky than a match striker. I could see putting a couple of these in the bluetip box for convenience. (Upside down of course!). ... show more
