Let me start by saying NOBODY READS ANYTHING or looks at anything because this product even has a video showing that ITS LEVEL 2 Light blocking which is not the heaviest light blocking and it even tells u that so when people complain of this doesnt block all the light it never said it would!!!! So with that i love this product its perfect light weight beautiful color... i got plum purple and its great its a brownish purple and in sun shimmers a little goldish purple... i just love them worth a shot since they cheap. If u want more light blockage buy extra panels and scrunch them up all together the thinner u stretch it the more light comes in ... show more

This review is for the Vintage Blue curtain panels. I selected these based on the color I was looking for, as well as price, non grommet, and decent width. In short: These met all of my expectations! I love them, super lovely, even better than anticipated! Details: Color: I have a family room that I pretty much kept in warm colors (gold, orange, browns). I acquired a blue and brown rug that I intended for elsewhere when I decided to try it out in my family room. I liked it so much that I thought that if I could find a way to swap to these new colors with out spending a lot, I would go for it. SO I proceeded to look for plain blue curtains. The blue in the rug reminds me of a cornflower blue. When I found this Vintage Blue, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Price: I normally don't comment on price, but here it was part of my selection. If I didn't find cheap enough curtains, I was not likely to make a change to my family room. This was not a need, just an impulsive want to switch things up. Curtain prices vary significantly, and I have noticed though my life that that is not necessarily indicative of quality or performance. Especially if just being used for decorative purpose. At time of my purchase, they were $7.49 a panel. Non grommet: I don't care for the look of grommets, a lot of panel choices are those grommets. These just slide on and have solid material across the top. With this style, the option is almost always there to have the little scrunching at top, or let the panel drape down flat by sliding rod through next section down. Width: The width of these panels are 54". This is pretty generous. I have seen panels (especially in discount stores) where the panels are as little as 20". Many are in the 36-42" range. This additional width will allow for the curtains to maintain a bit of ripple rather when closed than being flat when pulled closed. This also lends to greater privacy. Also accommodates wider area with less panels. I didn't buy these for blocking light, but I do like having them closed at night for a little privacy (despite living in country). They are fine. They are a standard curtain to me. They do not say they are light blocking. They do say that they "blocks out SOME light", and that "Performance varies by color". My medium blue does a nice job giving me privacy and dimming the room when the sun is beating in. I suggest that if more darkening, blocking, or privacy is needed (and you don't want stiff light blocking panels), add in another panel or two. I included a bunch of pics! Color is closest to the photos taken further away. edit/update: Just swinging by to say that I bought two more panels a couple months later, and the dye lot is the same. I was worried they wouldn't be, but all looks the same. PHEW! ... show more

My family absolutely loves the Sun Zero Barrow Energy Efficient Rod Pocket Curtain Panels! After our first set came in, we ordered 6 more windows' worth of curtains! These are NOT blackout curtains. They are room darkening curtains, and they do an amazing job of darkening a room. These feel like they are of good quality, but they are significantly less expensive than nearly anything else that we could find. These curtains are amazing, and I can not imagine beating this product for the price. We own the Steel Grey, Brick Red, Lime Green, and Marine Blue versions, and they are all fantastic. ... show more

These are very nice curtains for the money. The color is true and they're easy to install. Remember: this package is only ONE panel so you need to order TWO if you want split curtains. Also note that these are NOT BLACK OUT curtains -- they are ROOM DARKENING. Agree with the other posters' photos. I put privacy film on my windows and used these curtains and it makes my bedroom feel warm and private. ... show more

I have these curtains in the blush and I just received the navy. I like them a lot and the cost is super reasonable. What I found frustrating was that currently the seller is only allowing you to buy 3 panels which makes no sense at all. I think it’s pretty common that people have two panels per window. I have 3 windows therefore needed 6 panels. I had to ask my mom if she could buy the other 3 with her account. At least cap the quantity at an even number. I recognize these aren't "blackout" curtains. I wasn't trying to get blackout curtains. I just wanted them to be able to block some light and dim the room decently. I assumed by their description they could do this. They cannot. These curtains are a (small) step up from sheers. It's like someone decided to make some heavy sheers and this was this result. I should have known better. But wait, there's more. I had thought about just dealing with it and buying another set and just bunching them up real well to accomplish my goal. Sure, I'm spending more money but at least I know what I'm dealing with. Turns out that isn't going to happen. I hit the "buy again" button ready buy another set only to discover they are now rather than the $10 per panel price they were just a week ago, they are now $30 per panel. Never going to happen. So now I'm just going to return them and buy them someplace besides Amazon, where lying about your product seems to be becoming commonplace. ... show more

The blue not as bright as I expected there's actually almost a gray blue to it but I'm really happy with the color. It has a bit of shine to the material. The backing is gray-ish instead of white or black so I'm pleased with that also. I can see there's a sewn in black lining between the front and back fabrics. There's two rod pockets. It's not very thick but the description says it's a level two so I know it's only a slight light blocking which is all I wanted. Care instructions say wash in cold water and tumble dry on low heat.
