Didn’t expect this heater to be like 7 feet tall fully extended and is nice you can also mount it straight to a wall If you choose . Seems to work well . Haven’t had any cold nights to try it yet but coil does get hot quick and can feel the heat from several feet away . I’m happy with my purchase

Can't tell you how difficult this purchase has been? Ordered on Oct 9th. When I didn't receive on the 11th as promised, they told me it was delayed but assured me that it would arrive on the 13th. When it didn't arrive on the 13th as promised, they told me it would be here on the 16th. On the morning of the 16th, I received an email that the order was cancelled and a replacement was sent out that would be here on the 21st!!! Now let's talk about this POS. Believe all the other reviews because this thing runs for less than a few minutes before the safety features shut it down! After a while it cools down but you have to turn it back on again and then it shuts off even quicker. Completely useless to keep you warm! I ended up taking the thing apart and bypassing the temp sensors as well as drilling vent holes in the end caps to keep it cooler. There are 3 temp sensors wired inline, inside, along the underside of the reflective material. Took me about an hour to find and bypass them. Heater works well for now, but the average person probably wont go through the trouble. I'll update if this thing ends up bursting into flames, LOL. There are better options on Amazon. Do not buy this one! ... show more

It's a really great product, got it at a great price. Bought 2 of them, they give off great infared heat. The reason for only 4 stars is, if you mount it near the ceiling or enclosed area like above a cabinet, it will shut off after 15 minutes, guessing due to too much surrounding heat and its a safety feature maybe. A good thing I suppose, but we were hoping to not have to have them on the stands and have them out of the way. Still happy tho. ... show more

It took me maybe 15 minutes to assemble. The unit is small and doesn't put off a ton of heat, but it does the job for a small area. I think it will be great for my garage or congregating outside. I got it as an Amazon prime deal and definitely worth it!

Well I bought this electric heater to enjoy my patio in the winter. It gives off a decent amount of heat. The stability is not the best and you can see I have a chair holding it up to spread the heat evenly if not it will be facing more downward than upward… I’m not sure why it cuts off every so often.. one minute it’ll cut off every 10-15 min and then it’ll stay on for hours… I’m not sure if the way it leans over triggers it to cut off or what but I noticed if it stands upright it’ll stay on for hours… sounds crazy I know; maybe someone has an answer for this. Bought two of these, cause they were reasonably priced. After a solid two weeks of use the first already broke down, won’t turn on. Not sure how the next one will last. Do not purchase if you intend for heavy use.
