I looked at quite a few leaf blowers before deciding on this one. The two selling points for this one were weight and price (under $20 open box). I bought "Used Acceptable" condition and aside from the box being re-taped it was like new. I have a 24 ft. wide, 150 ft. long packed gravel driveway, I wanted a lower amperage unit to allow for the long cord length. I used a 50' 16 gauge cord, plugged into a heavy duty 100' 12 gauge 3 outlet commercial cord to reach out to street. The blower worked great, barely getting warm to the touch on the motor housing or cord connections, and maintaining constant power thanks to being only 6 amps. The only real negative is I am 6' tall and the nozzle is a bit short and straight. This makes it difficult to push leaves once they start piling up. I wish it had a longer nozzle with a bit of an upward curve at the end to help get air under the leaves. It works, but I have to bend over a lot to get air under piled up leaves to move them along. I may try fabricating something to attach on the end to help with this. Definitely beats raking, keeps most of my gravel in driveway. I needed something to blow all the sand off the balcony from recent hurricanes here in Florida, this product worked great and did the job easily. It is lightweight, easy to use, a little loud but is a great tool for balconies, patios etc., and it will get lots of use.

In all honesty I didn't expect much for such a great price! I have artificial turf in my backyard that is pretty hard to clean because the stuff that falls onto my lawn gets stuck in it. This little blower is very powerful and did a great job getting the stuff up and off the artificial turf. I have paid three times as much for a blower that didn't do as good of a job as this one did! It's not super loud (all blowers are annoying!), it is really lightweight and the handle is comfortable to hold. If you're looking for a cheap, but good blower, this is it! ... show more

I bought this lightweight leaf blower to keep my roof gutters cleaned out. It seems powerful enough to do the job, though I haven't tackled that chore yet. I like the fact that the tube comes in two sections, and using only one will be helpful in blowing out a gutter.

OK so this amazing SunJoe leaf blower is perfect for me! I use it to blow leaves off my patio away from my sliding doors and to blow leaves away from my garage door! It’s perfect for SMALL jobs. You’re not going to use this for the entire lawn…no way. But for me it’s a life saver getting the leaves away from entry doors so they’re not tracked inside. It’s light weight, not extremely loud, has super power! You will need an extension cord. No battery operation.
