I suffer from what I like to call 'chronically tight hamies' aka tight hamstrings. This problem has been so bad over the years that I've regularly thrown out my back doing simple tasks. My hamstrings will cause my back to get tight and then boom I'm hobbling around for a few days. I've long used an old cotton white belt from my martial arts days but found it always slipped while in a deep stretch. That isn't a problem here with the stretching strap. There are multiple loop positions you can either grip onto or slip your foot into. I was initially unsure if the nylon stitching would hold up to the pressure of a deep stretch. After pressing full force with my leg into one of the loops I can confidently say it will hold up just fine for a very long time. It feels quite sturdy and has helped me improve my flexibility.
