  • Necessity
I recently purchased the Streamlight 69270 TLR-6 for my Glock 43X, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. As someone who takes personal defense seriously, having a reliable light/laser combo on my firearm is essential. The TLR-6 not only met but exceeded my expectations. The installation process was a breeze; it fits snugly onto the pistol without adding any bulk or interfering with its sleek profile. The 100-lumen light output is more than sufficient for illuminating dark areas, whether indoors or outdoors. Plus, the integrated red aiming laser provides an added layer of precision to my shooting. In terms of performance, I've put this light/laser through its paces at the range, and it has held up flawlessly. The controls are intuitive and easy to manipulate, even under stress. I appreciate the ambidextrous operation, allowing both left and right-handed shooters to activate the light/laser without any issues. Durability-wise, Streamlight has once again proven why they're a trusted name in the industry. The TLR-6 feels solidly built and has survived numerous drops and bumps without skipping a beat. Additionally, the waterproof construction gives me peace of mind, knowing that it can handle whatever conditions I encounter. Overall, I highly recommend the Streamlight 69270 TLR-6 to any Glock 42/43/43X/48 owner looking to enhance their firearm's capabilities. It's a game-changer for low-light shooting situations and provides added confidence in my ability to defend myself and my loved ones. ... show more

  • Perfect fit for Glock 43X
Excellent build quality, perfect size for the Glock 43X, the laser is also bright and looks great, I used it at the range and it hasn't lost "0" until now. Its manipulation is easy. I consider it to be an excellent option and investment.

  • Works as described
I purchased this attachment for my Glock 43. It fits like a glove and the laser and flash light work remarkably well. I initially purchased just the light attachment, but, then considered about the unfortunate event that my wife would need to point and intimidate. There is nothing that provides a sense of confidence that you will hit what your pointing at like a laser. She feels comfortable with the one touch finger application and the ease of functionality of the device. Installation of the batteries was straight forward and without complications. The return of the previously purchased (light only) attachment went without a hitch and was hassle-free. ... show more

  • A bit pricey, but essential [Edited review]
I first wrote a review on this light after just receiving it. I've had it for a few weeks now and to add to my previous comments I now find this light essential. There are two elements that I didn't mention that I find to be game changers... Before installing the light I was struggling to hang onto my G43x. The recoil was quite snappy as one would expect. Hanging this light on the front tamed the recoil signifcantly and is much more like a larger sized model. Even more importantly, I was frustrated with my accuracy, the POI always being low and left. I thought I was jerking the trigger which is the general diagnosis. That wasn't the case. It seems it was a comination of me reading the sights wrong and the rear sight being a hair too far left and the front sight too tall [Truglo TFX Pros]. The laser on the TLR-6, after zeroing as spot on for POA/POI and helped me diagnosed what my accuracy issue is. Before I lacked confidence because I missed so much. Now I can count of either the iron sights or the laser for aiming. But that's not all... The button to turn the laser/light on is so conveniently placed that I have learned to turn it on as I draw. It seems that one would not need a red dot with the laser and you can be on point without even raising the sights to eye level. All in all I'm super impressed. I can't see having my G43x without this light. Original review: At first I was worried about the 100 lumen rating. Lumens are really difficult to judge actual brightness and when one sees other lights with 600 lumen we wonder if this light will be insufficient. If you need a light outdoors that will light up a target at 150 feet buy the stronger light. But for inside a house it is plenty bright. It takes about 4 minutes to install once you know what you are doing. However if you install it, align the laser and remove it you have to re-align the laser again. I mention this only because none of my holsters will work with the light. So I either have to remove the light to carry or buy new holsters. I do wish it was quicker and a bit easier to install and uninstall. The process is simple with three hex head screws, but if a quick release clamp could be incorporated (like the Holosun red dot on my AR) it would be idea. The switch system is pretty nifty but I haven't yet found my index finger or thumb going to the switch upon draw. I would like it to be a little closer to the trigger guard, but it's good enough. The thing weighs 1.3 ounces. I haven't shot it yet (tomorrow) so I don't know if it will help muzzle flip and felt recoil with my 43x. The laser version was over $90 with tax, so a bit pricey for a cheap plastic flash light with laser. But the fact that it can be integrated into the frame of the G43x, 48 and I think 43 is something that might be a necessity for home self defense. I'm going to try to test it tomorrow at the range to see if I can find consistent POA/POI and possibly use that to help better zero my iron sights. If something changes I'll edit this review. ... show more
