Super easy to use. All you need is a small phillips screwdriver to get the plug apart then connect the wires up to the poles and tighten. Slide the unit back together and tighten the screw which secures the cover over the connections. These are not super heavy duty plugs but are adequate for most applications and they are inexpensive.     • Too difficult to attach wires
I find it too difficult to attach the wires with the screw. Either the tiny wires come apart when tightening the screw or when putting sold on the wires wires it becomes too big to use the screw.

    • Junk - don't waste your money.
At a 'cheap' 7.99 for 4, (2.00 a piece,) you don't even get what you paid for, I can't imagine these costing the Chinese maker more than maybe 20 cents apiece. I used one and threw the other three in the trash. I rated them a 3 for "Easy to Use?" because it is a plug.... simply plugs into a socket. 1.) The screws are too small to secure even 18 ga. stranded lamp cord. What happens as you tighten the screw is, it does not capture the wire, it squishes it out and away. I solved this by adding a no. 4 flat washer under each screw, which was a real pain-in-the-a__ because of the very tight space around each screw. When tightening the screws, the washer stayed stationary and compressed all strands snugly down tight. 2.) The tiny screw that holds the jacket onto the core is not captive.... you'll be very likely to drop it and be on your hands & knees trying to find it. 3.) There is no strain relief clamp or 'pinch' factor in the jacket to prevent tug-strain from pulling on the wire ends 4.) The design makes the plug very susceptible to water entry but these should be limited to indoor use. 5.) The good thing is that there is very little environmental impact when you throw them out, they are very small items. ... show more

    • Difficult to use because of 3rd pole bad quality.
I have used such plugs for at about 7 month and noticed that to plug it in a socket of extended cable it is neccesary to applay extra power, but to plug it out is neccesary to use extra tool like flat lever. I think this happens because of non cylindrical shape of 3rd (groung) pole. Finally I stop using all plugs that I bought. ... show more
