Used the fan to circulate the warm air coming of the Mr Heater Portable Buddy heater in my hunting blind and worked very well. Loved the mounting bracket as you could adjust it to the angle you wanted to move the air on the floor or to the ceiling. Fan noise is minimal would purchase again.

Simple install. Takes real hot fire to get it going. At full speed circulates well. Helps move air from living room area to dining kitchen area. With low fire not much help. Activation temp needs to be lower. Does give a visual regards stove temp so you can be reminded to add wood before temp drops.

I already have an Ecofan (made in Canada) that’s been running fine for several years. I decided to try an additional fan to push the air in another direction. This one (made in China) was way less expensive. It’s not as heavy as the one made in Canada but it seems to be well constructed of good material and operates fine so far. I could have installed it myself but my son said he would do it for me. It seemed pretty easy as long as you understand how the clamps work. (Do it on a cool pipe!) The clamps themselves are heavy and seemed good quality. I don’t know why anyone would even think of installing one of these on a double wall stove pipe. We have never used double wall pipe right at the stove. This fan does not push the air as strongly as my (larger) Ecofan, but the air does move. Don’t expect any of these to be as strong as an plug-in fan—but they do help circulate the air. I have included a photo of the fan pushing a light piece of paper towel. Sometimes you may not feel the air with your hand, but you can see it working in the photo. I am pleased so far with this item for the price. ... show more

So I purchased 3 of these for my multiple Mr Heater units including my brand new (purchased 12/30/2024) Mr heater flex. Mounted it as advertised and...IT MELTED THE TOP AND HANDLES. Bought one to sit on stove. But room is large and it took a bit to circulate past furniture et. So I bought one for the pipe mounted higher from floor. When fire built one on the pipe spins first. (Single wall). Room much cozier quicker now. The way my house is built. 1910 home. Small rooms narrow hallways 10 foot callings and a 15 year old small wood stove I just put new stove bricks in. The two fans will heat well on the second floor that is 20' by 40' room nicely in about 15 to twenty minutes after I get a fair fire going. Stove is small holds 1 log 10"diameter and 18" long at a time that get temp on pipe to about 400 degrees on the stove pipe. The pipe fan is a bit larger than the stove top one. But there is no way without blowing that hot air into ducting to go around corners, through the hallway and down a stairs to heat a whole house. This is the start of these fans second winter and they are still functioning. Now, I tried to fasten one on a Williams gas wall furnace pipe. Pipe is double wall and that doesn't work at all pipe does not get hot enough to make blades turn. ... show more

Our fourth such fan (though our prior ones were of the original manufacturer), this one has a very unique stovepipe mount that allows us to maintain a clear space for our top loading wood stove. The fan is efficient and starts much earlier than our Ecofan does. Good quality and functionality.
