Using this in primarily a 2-4 person playing mode. As a two player game expansion we really enjoy seeing new birds and have adjusted the game to use most of the cards with those from our original game. Wingspan is fantastic!

Once again the wingspan series delivers a great game. This expansion offers some new twists in the powers of the birds and builds some new very beautiful birds.     • We love Duet mode!
We are obsessed with Wingspan, but when it’s just the two of us, we love Duet mode. Would love to see even more maps and round end goals for the two-player mode, but overall can’t go wrong with buying all the expansions!

In the countless youtube reviews that I watch (for all games), one comment about Wingspan Asia struck me: "this game is better than the original Wingspan." While it is good, very good, I still enjoy the base game better. I've also heard that people buy this just for the Asian expansion cards, which could be true, as these new cards are gorgeous, as one might expect, and have entirely unique conditions that do add more to the original game. But I personally like keeping this game intact and playing it separately. A welcome addition to my bird & nature-themed collection of both books and games. ... show more

    • Joins Oceania as one of the more disruptive but fun expansions
I play this mixed in with the base game and Oceania expansion. You’d think that would dilute the overall impact of this expansion but the impression is that cards in Asia expansion can single handedly define or dramatically change your strategy. Great expansion!

My husband and I mostly play on our own, so we're loving the new duet features! As we already have all the other expansions and base game, this was really easy to learn to add on. Also, instead of removing the Historian bonus card, we've agreed it will be 3 points each instead of 2. Our only problem is that these cards are a slightly different shape from the other cards (the corners are less rounded), so shuffling was difficult at first. ... show more
