There were some tiny imperfections, but nothing I couldn’t live with. Extremely well made. I will say that the coffee cups were a little bit of a disappointment. Wish they were larger. They are more like kid mugs.

Just the feel of these plates are an upgrade from the normal white plates. They cleaned up well in the dishwasher and have a nice weight to them. Happy with my purchase

We recently moved to a new place and wanted to start all over with our color scheme. I found this set and bought it immediately. Just from the pictures I fell in love with the plates and bowls. They arrived on time with no damage from shipping at all. They were a little dusty but that was expected. Once washed they are the absolute perfect black. In a warmer color light they look slightly brown. Some of the plates arrived with blemishes (shown in pictures) but nothing that is too serious. The wash easily and are super sturdy. We did a knife test on them to make sure they wouldn’t scratch with steak knives and it held up perfectly. The bowls in my opinion are the perfect size. Not too small and not overly big either. The coffee cups are a bit small for my liking but that’s just means more trips to the coffee pot! My only complaint is that the plates don’t stack up correctly no matter how hard you try. They seem to be uneven or of just a little but other than that they are fabulous dishes. ... show more
