I bought the matte black, serves 4 with the 9-inch dinner bowl about a year ago and still love them! They were packaged very well. I use these daily and even sometimes place them in the dishwasher for cleaning. So far none of the dishes have chipped or scratched. The dishes are very sturdy and heavy, so I wouldn’t recommend using with smaller children. Although they are sturdy, they are not indestructible. They are surprisingly heavy. But they are such amazing quality. Dishwasher safe. They do conduct heat because they’re made of stone. So when you take them out of the dishwasher, be careful. They will be very warm. But they keep food warm longer for this reason. Honestly this is my favorite purchase I made when moving into a new place. I love these so much.
