So I was a little hesitant to buy a winch off of Amazon, but I did it just to get me by till my other one gets here. So far it has done good. Installed the same day it was delivered, took about 1 hour but could have been done a lot quicker, I had to pull the old winch off and fix my old bumper. Me and a buddy went to the beach and found a guy stuck in the mud and surf. Used the winch to pull him out. So it done one job so far. The winch is great for the price of the unit. It’s not a named brand but for the price it seems to be built well. We will see how long and how well it works in the coming weeks. I will update the review as time goes on. I will add I didn’t use the supplied hook, for a 13,500 winch the hook didn’t seem right. After a couple of months of use I can say this is a great winch. We live on the gulf coast of texas and have recovered many people stuck in the sand mud and water ... show more

I believe the overall 4.5 stars is an accurate rating. Simple install. About 1hr 15min and only because I ran the battery cables 3x because of OCD and wanting them ran perfectly lol. Worked first time once hooked up. Spools nicely. Haven't stretched it yet though. A few notes: 1) attach power box to winch before putting on the vehicle or you won't be able to tighten it down. 2) attach the ground cable from battery along with the remote ground from the power box to the underside of the winch motor before setting on the vehicle as well or you will be fighting to get that nut on to tighten it. 3) the plug that covers the wired remote connector is very loose so may want to wrap some electrical tape around the rubber plug to give it more girth so it wont flop open if someone breathes on it. 4) the fairlead bolts are allen heads. Big ones. Luckily it was the biggest one I had on hand. So make sure you have a large allen set. ... show more

I actually installed this winch in a race car trailer to help maneuver a car in and out. After my initial install I realized that the control attached to the motor by an electric cable didn’t work. Would only make the spool turn out. The wireless remote worked quite well though. After emailing the company they sent a new wired control along with a new relay control box. I have only used this winch a couple times so far and it seems strong and decent quality. This winch easily pulls my Jeep CJ5 out ditches, pulls stuck cars with flat tie and moves trees off the trail. Literally had to use it the day after install. Used it to help lineman out where I live mov fallen trees from the road as their winch had broken. The wireless feature impressed those guys alot even to the point where I text them where I got it from. Would buy again if ever failed.

What didn’ti wrong with this Winch? It pulled out a stuck H1 hummer, I pushed it passed its limits. So far have only needed it once but it surprised everyone with what it was capable of. I anchored to a tree and the winch did the rest. Almost all the tires were in the air from how much load the stock went through. Even at max load it still kept going. A fantastic Winch for the price! I used my winch for the first time on the 24th and it failed on me during a simple recovery. The control module shorted out and became hot to the touch after the first use. Fortunately, the person I was helping recover was able to recover using other gear. Have sent images with a warranty claim, and nobody seems to be able to send me an email even telling me no. Spend the extra money for a different product and avoid the same headache I just suffered. That 325 should've gone to a more reliable manufacturer. It has worked amazing and I absolutely love the color and functionality the winch offers. I recently had a problem with it and got ahold of the company and they replied back quickly and took care of the problem I definitely recommend these winches cause of the durability and functionality of them
