Ok so I first off the winch showed up 3 days early which is always a plus. The packaging was great I didn’t see any scuffs or anything of that sort on it everything looked great. They kit was missing one lock washer but not a big deal because they included a winch cover which again is a plus to me. The instructions were kind of useless like every else has said but its just a winch so theirs like 100s of videos. As far as function I hooked it up to stuff and tried it out on a steep hill and it worked great. Everyone says the wireless remote feels cheep and yeah it does a little but I’d rather them skimp out on how the remote feels rather then its function. So far for a winch that’s under 400 I think it’s a great deal and I’m more then happy with it. I’ll write something after a year and see how it holds up. ... show more

So I was a little hesitant to buy a winch off of Amazon, but I did it just to get me by till my other one gets here. So far it has done good. Installed the same day it was delivered, took about 1 hour but could have been done a lot quicker, I had to pull the old winch off and fix my old bumper. Me and a buddy went to the beach and found a guy stuck in the mud and surf. Used the winch to pull him out. So it done one job so far. The winch is great for the price of the unit. It’s not a named brand but for the price it seems to be built well. We will see how long and how well it works in the coming weeks. I will update the review as time goes on. I will add I didn’t use the supplied hook, for a 13,500 winch the hook didn’t seem right. After a couple of months of use I can say this is a great winch. We live on the gulf coast of texas and have recovered many people stuck in the sand mud and water ... show more

I bought it to take my 17 silverado out of the mud, I also purchased a tow hitch Winch tray, as well as a snatch block. The truck was stuck all the way to the frame and after installing everything on the truck it was able to successfully recover out of the mud. However the clutch sticker is not accurate. So at first I got teased because I didn’t buy a smitty or warn winch. This winch was less money and it worked great. It was easy to install. Fit perfectly on my bumper(jeep). I could pull anyone out of anything. Then I rear ended a truck after 8 months of not driving a vehicle and it killed my winch. So I’m buying this on again and I’m upgrading to the 13000lb.
