Definitely bladderwrack.. sadly I could not bear the taste of it it's just super strong so I am going to go with the capsule form I do suggest to anybody if you have never tried this before do not jump straight in for the powder. I bought this in hopes of being able to add it to my Seamoss smoothies but the taste is so strong like it literally tastes and smells like the ocean seaweed and at first I thought it was the sea moss but it wasn't it was just the bladderwrack and so I'm going with the capsule formula but I have some people that have been able to use the powder form which I don't believe that there's anything wrong with this product it's just I was not expecting it to taste so terrible. However if you are used to using bladderwrack powder then there is nothing wrong with going ahead and making this purchase I have a grandmother and she says that it tastes exactly how it's supposed to but I cannot take it. ... show more

I just started using this product a month ago so I'm somewhat indifferent as to the quality because I don't have anything to compare it to. I bought it because I was getting frustrated with the whole leaf bladderwrack whenever I attempted to make tea with it. This is a very fine powder which can be messy so I suggest transferring from the original packaging into a canister or some other container with a wide opening. If you mix it with a liquid, you'll have to add it in gradually. If you put it into the bottom of a dry cup or a blender and then add liquid on top of it, the powder will turn into a bunch of gritty lumps that are very hard to dissolve. I'm not an expert but I attribute the lumpiness to the product be pure compared to other powders that have inorganic byproducts that help it dissolve easier. So while I don't have anything else by which to make the comparison, it's still a winner for me. I'll be buying this again. ... show more

I receive my Bladder wrack quicker than I expect it, which I,m excited about. I just start taking it so there no big difference that could see. I have added it to my Sea Moss that I take every morning. I have seen that I sleep better and I do not wake up all groggy and tired.

Using this for me but I find that the fishy smell and slimy consistency make it difficult for me to take consistently and in large amounts. In fact, it is easier for me to just put it in my mouth and swallow water to get it down than to mix it and make any sort of tonic. I have also once used it to make a face mask and to make conditioner. I think that bladderwrack is amazing for what it does. I just need to find ways to get it down that make it easier for me to take every day. ... show more

    • High Quality Product but Taste is Unbearable

This is a high quality product I can tell but the taste is unbearable for me. I tried this in a mix with Irish Moss and as a result both products to this day remain sitting on my shelf as the fishy flavor is almost impossible for me to get all down. But that's just me. This is the only company I've tried for Bladderwrack so the flavor may not be the fault of the company. It may just be the way this stuff taste. Going to have to get use to it. ... show more

It tastes horrible alone so I made capsules out of it. I now put it mixed with other herbs in my stir fries, just a little bit because the salt taste is overwhelming. I guess anything that is good for you tastes horrible.
