I reached out to Stanley tools regarding the drinking safety of their “industrial /professional” product. After several emails and several days, I was referred to an entirely different company. The company that actually manufactures the hose (Not Stanley). And told by them that it was in fact safe to drink from. This has become my favorite hose of many tried in our gardens. I have only had one failure; the end blew out on one when connected overnight to a soaker hose with too much pressure.
