Ordered it, after (as always) our gas patio heater did not start when needed. Packaging was compact but solid. It was easy to assemble (5 min). 2 poles have a fine thread and needs to be set on precisely and twisted without too much pressure (other wise you might kill the thread). Heater looks good from the outside and gives quality impression besides the on/off cord which appears flimsy. I like the 2 level of heat with the two build in infrared rods. Only used once, outdoor large open space during winter. Didn’t do much. Might be better for smaller areas , possibly in screened porch in spring or fall.

    • Hardly any heat
This heater is useless. First it arrived missing a bolt to assemble it. Amazon did give me a 15% refund since I had to go to Lowe’s searching for a bolt that was the right size. Now back to the product…complete waste of money. We had it set up on a small balcony, fully enclosed on 3 sides. The heater was no more than 2 ft from where we would sit and you could feel ZERO heat when it was on full blast. At one point it snowed and the heater had a dusting of snow on it. It didn’t even get hot enough to melt the snow sitting on top of the heating element. We tried it 3 different times in three different outdoor temps all with the same result. We then promptly took it apart and threw it in the trash! If you are looking for a heater that actually puts off heat - don’t waste your money on this one! ... show more

    • Doesn't work like hoped. But, still dose the job.
The media could not be loaded. This heater works good it just does not put out a lot of heat toward where you're facing it as normal heat rises.it does however heat my porch but take a while to get a comfortable temp.it does keep it at a reasonable temp. It doesn't meet my expectations. But,it has helped alot so far.. ... show more

Puts out good heat bar can be raised,stands approximately 6 high to 4 feet lowest. My dog loves it.

    • Extremely poor heat output outdoors, waste of money
This heat lamp is a joke. I don’t know if mine is defective or this lamp just has very poor heat output. It is currently on my back porch, out of the wind and under cover, and it doesn’t even melt any of the snow on the ground around it that blew up onto the porch. It’s on the highest heat setting and lowest height setting. If you aren’t standing right next to it, you can’t feel any heat at all. The power cord is only 6 feet long and extends from the top of the lamp which is near 6 feet tall, so the base can’t be more than a couple of feet away from an outlet. Chances are, you’ll need an extension cord. It’s sturdy and stable. Easy to assemble. The heat output is just very ineffective outdoors. I definitely would not recommend. I’ll be returning this ASAP. ... show more
