First off, I'm a bit confused, as the item description and photo has completely changed since I ordered this item. You can compare my photos to the photos in the current listing, and the item description that I ordered (Garden Hose 25 ft, 304 Stainless Steel Metal Garden Hose with Brass Fittings) with the current item description. They are very different, which is weird. So, take this review for what it is: a review of the item that I actually received and for the item that this listing actually described at the time that I ordered it. Pros: I was quite impressed by the flexibility of the hose, since it's all metal. I definitely expected it to be stiffer, but it was just as easy (actually, easier) to loop about as a standard garden hose. Plus, you get all of the flexibility without the kinking, as the metal makes a hose kink basically impossible. Both ends of the hose attached securely and did not leak. Cons: Because it's metal, it did seem a slight bit heavier than a standard hose - so be more careful when dragging it across a garden bed. It also seemed like the capacity of hose (width of the interior) is smaller than a standard garden hose, as the volume of water (CFS) moving through the hose was lower than what I am used to. If you are watering plants directly, this will translate into a little more of your time needed to hold the hose. However, if you're hooking it up to a soaker hose, it won't really matter. ... show more

This review is for the Garden Hose 25 ft, 304 Stainless Steel Metal Garden Hose with Brass Fittings. Now being somewhat on in years saying it was the last hose I will ever buy was a bit ominous, but, I'm here to report that this is a really nifty hose. I have a large garden and over the years have tried virtually every kind of hose there is. Standard plastic hoses are either so stiff they won't bed or so thin that they instantly kink. Then there are those snake thing, don't kink but also don't last, snag them on anything and they are toast. This hose is super flexible but will not kink due to the stainless steel limiting the minimum bend. I attached a sprayer to the hose and it was perfect for watering, I could drag it around obstacles and not have it snag and it lays perfectly flat. You can see in the picture how my old hose would kink and it's very frustrating when you are watering and give the hose a pull only to have the water stop due to a kink. Just got this hose so will update if anything negative comes up but it looks like I'll be ordering another one for out front. So this one won't be the last hose I ever buy. ... show more

I was looking for a lightweight garden hose that wouldn't be damaged by snaking through my shrubs to fill a front-yard birdbath. This one seems to fit the bill! It's still cold here, so I haven't left it outdoors, but did attach it to the tap and try it out; it's more flexible than expected and easy to thread among the shrubs to reach my planters and the bird bath.     • Heavy with the full metal jacket!
Nice hose, very flexible metal jacket, they state it's stainless steel and won't rust, we'll see! These kind of hoses I have had and found they have a thin poly-tube inside that actually hold the water pressure. The ends are also usually a weak point. How many I've had of those dang shrink/expand hoses that spring leaks along their length, I worry this will happen to this guy too. Also the brass looking ends usually snap off and pull out the flange hose attachment threads. We'll see and if it fails in less than one season I'll update review. It is super flexible and non-kinking, I can contest to that. Winds up easily on hose reels. Does not crush under foot I hope the brass looking ends are up to the quality of the hose section. Good value for $15 and I recommend getting a couple of them, 50' would be nice! ... show more

A great looking hose that is almost magically kink free. I like the reinforcement connecting the hose to the end fittings. The hose is light, flexible, and delivers more than enough water to squirt off my porch. It clears leaves from thirty feet away with a blast the sends them sailing off the deck and into the yard.
