These are a little more compact than some of the ones you see around. They still easily fit a 5'10", 220 pound man but they just aren't as high backed as some of the others I have seen. The material is that of composite deck boards and feels sturdy and should be weatherproof. The back comes prebuilt so you really only have to assemble the legs and arm rests and then the entire back slides into place an takes 4 more bolts. It took me probably 20 minutes to get them both together an tightened up. Pro tip- grab an impact with a the appropriate allen driver bit and a size 10 metric box end wrench and this thing flies together. I have a friend who weighs 350 and I can never find a comfortable chair for him to sit outside. These were perfect. They are nice looking, durable and very sturdy. Please be aware though that it does say that an "electric drill" is nice but not necessary...I gave up and could not put them together. I am an older woman but they are not super easy to put together. I had a friend put them together for me and he finally used his electric drill and fairly easily put them together. ... show more

These HDPE chairs assembled nicely. The seat panels were pre assembled and some of their screws were incompletely screwed in. The HDPE is nicely textured and have a good but not great wood grain to them. I've seem some HDPE that looks like it has wood rings right through the material. I'd give these a passing grade of "B" for the decorative aspect of the HDPE material. The chairs are VERY comfortable. I'm 5'9" and 185# and they are a perfect fit. The arms on these chairs will bend a bit if you put weight in the unsupported center of the arm- but they seem like they will not break any time soon. They look good and they shed water well. I think the fasteners are stainless, but I can't confirm this to be the case. It feels like these can be left out in the rain without a problem. i hope this review helps! ... show more

I will start out by saying that assembly goes much faster with 2 people tackling a chair together. Other than that, it was relatively easy as long as you don't skip any steps. I personally find that these chairs are comfortable as is, with their recline taking pressure off of your hips. However, some people may want to accentuate with cushions for the bottom and back. I have weak wrists and these chairs came in pieces that require assembly. It was painful on my hands and I managed to put one together. I will save the other one for another day.

This is a nice set of outdoor chairs made of some kind of plastic resin. They should last for a long time although I don't now how well the color will hold up in the sun and rain. But a little fade can still look good. Easy to put together with the clear instructions. Because it is a solid resin they are a bit heavier than wood or light plastic chairs. Currently do not see a price but when I ordered them they were 150 bucks which is a decent price for furniture these days. ... show more
