The reader works great. I experienced it during slow transactions at a flea market. It worked great with the app. I haven't experienced it yet when there's faster paced customers and I may update my review later to compare slow and fast transactions. Oh I didn't see an option to add sales tax so I just raised the prices of the products to make up for sales tax. I could be missing something since I only used it for two days so far. ... show more

I find the square easy to use, however for some of the people at the business who are not great with technology there is definitely a learning curve. The device itself is easy and straightforward to use, we keep ours always plugged in so not sure how long a charge lasts. The app is not as easy as they claim. There is definitely some setup time taken with the app that might be a lot for people who are not comfortable with tech.
