Works perfectly straight out of the box with Windows 11 video production HP computer and Android 13 Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) Tablet and Android 11 Moto G Stylus (2021) Phone with an added USB A to USB C adapter for the android devices. I didn't need to do anything other than make the connection and transfer files to the USB drive. In this case, I was transferring GoPro videos on micro SD to the Video Production System, and audio recordings from SD card out of a Zoom H2N recorder to a Google drive folder via the tablet or the phone. File transfer was fast and quick in all cases. Windows file transfers are always the easiest. File transfers using Android are a bit more tricky. I gave full stars. Great product! I have only used SD and micro SD slots so far and nothing simultaneously, but if I do try more or do some simultaneous file transfers, I'll update my review. I have no reason to doubt any of the rest will work as stated by the manufacturer. I hope this helps! ... show more

Easy plug and play. My only issue is that it stays on even when my computer is turned off the device is drawing power. The dim blue light inside stays on forever regardless if the computer is running or not. I also covered up and blacked out the blue outside light with tape and a black marker like others have mentioned. Overall not bad, it transfers files fine, just the blue light staying on is kind of weird & super annoying. ... show more

It was time to get a card reader separate from the built-in system devices. This card reader has flexibility in what it can accept for cards, it has a decent transfer speed, it works with the M2 Studio, Macbook Pro, Raspberry Pi 4b, Windows 11 and Raspberry Pi Zero 2w without issues and it does not heat up (very slightly warm right after use) to any significant degree. While it may not be the latest and greatest technology for a professional who may need to transfer large amounts of data regularly, it does a great general job for creating bootable cards and transferring files & images to MicroSDs, SDs and others. Nice long cord, enough that I can plug it into the USB ports on the front of my PC and lay the adapter on top of the case to rest. Love that I can plug multiple cards in and have access to each of them at the same time! Simple and light weight.

The UGREEN SD Card Reader USB 3.0 was purchased during June of 2018 for the price of $15.99 plus tax. It's now available for the sale price of $14.99 plus tax. It currently lists for $23.99 plus tax (December 5, 2024). This product was purchased specifically to facilitate the downloading of my images from an early model NIKON professional quality digital camera. After 6 years of use, it still looks and performs just like new. On occasion, I've used the reader to read cards other than those from the camera without any impedances whatsoever. It's the type of equipment that one may absolutely require for the tasks it performs. For that reason, price may become a secondary consideration. I'm not sure if I would make the purchase at the current list price; but the sale price is right on the money! ... show more
